Anyone been nabbed by this scam?

I was in World 1 today, and there were a bunch of Level 3's selling Yews for 300ea, i traded one and put up 900K, he put up 3k noted logs and i clicked to the next screen, i realized that in my haste i had almost agreed to paying 900K for 3k willows.

Almost scammers...Almost.

Umm. Use your eyes, when a item is removed or changed ,it will be highlighted in red and blink..

They don't remove the item, they put up an item that is similar to the one you're buying in the first place.

I was never scam (I always use the 2nd trade screen), but I heard many people were scammed with the magic/ willow logs int he german worlds.

People used to do that with magic loggs and willows but now that they updated the look for magics and the trading screen its basically impossible to scamm someone no one has tried it.

Why wouldn't you check the second screen AT ALL? I mean don't you even put your mouse on the items so you can see what they are? It's not like this is a good scam, you have to be pretty stupid to fall for it.
