An Item Lending Theory

Well, here is my theory:

When an item is lent, the item is turned into two, one of which is tagged with a 'return' method of some sort. One item is saved to the game for a definitive return to the owner by 'x' amount of time. The other one just disappears. There may be methods of changing the one lent to you, such as death, by abyss, which has been patched. Perhaps this could be of use to certain good bug abusers? This is in no way a complete cheat, just a theory of how item lending works. Perhaps somehow confusing ther server would work? Post in regard to this.

Was thinking, there must be ways an item can be "Changed" through NPC's such as maybe, enchanted summoning helmets? I wonder if that would work.

If so, I recommend trying to find a friend with a certain helmet, and trying it. I'll try myself. Hold on.

Well this is how it is:

Let's use an example and say the santa hat is item ID 1030. When it is lent, it gets turned into, lets say item ID 2030 and 2031. The "2030" is with the lender and has new options, does not act as a santa hat. The "2031" is with the borrower and it acts as a santa hat with limits, so the only glitch possible would be if the borrower got to keep the "2031" which he still could not sell, drop, etc. There's basically no way to get the full santa hat, unless you get it BEFORE it is turned into the other 2 items.

But what if say said item gets its form changed again? Say it somehow gets noted? That would have worked, but apparently, it was patched, but I have a new idea, and I'm currently looking for people to help with it.
