Item Lending- Dupe Glitch Possibility

Put into steps:

-Log into 2 accounts (different computers)
-Lend a (item) from account A to account B
-On account B, right click the (item) and click 'discard' (don't click any options)
-On account A, speak to banker and get your item back
-Account A will get item back instantly
-Account B will still have the item in the inventory as long as the text box remains undecided (don't click any options)


This isn't any glitch in which anyone will gain anything (yet) but I've only spent a few minutes trying out different things. If other people try different things, maybe someone will discover a way to have both players end up with the lent item.

Good luck, PM me with any breakthroughs. This is, as far as I know, the closest anyone has come to a possible dupe.

 

what kind of item? any kind of gs or something?

 

The item I used for this test was a whip, but I'm sure it works with any other item, godswords included.

 

Are you sure this works? If so people should get right on it and make money.

 

Yeah.. it works. But I havn't figured out yet how to make account B keep the item permenantly. That's my only problem. I have account A successfully get the item back, but account B loses the item as soon as i click an option in the chat box. I have a strong feeling there is a way to manipulate it so account B keeps it though. I'll just keep trying different ways.

same thing happens when account B has his bank window open.

ripped but i cant even get the first parts done right..whenever i right click to discard i have to click continue or it wont give it back to the lender

 

Wait... Nothing will work.
After Player A gets the account back, the item would then be clientside, not server side. Same thing happens when you use ArtMoney.

 

I've never tried it but if it is duped it will probably wear off once the time has come to return the item to the original owner.

 

I found out how to walk with it!... But you need members and full screen :[...

Simply, just open up a skill-journal. Next follow someone with it open, and... TADA! ...

You just can't go higher or lower, also! You can't teleport.

 

You're supposed to make the lender talk to a banker to get the item back.

 

oh so even though you dont click all the continue options, it will still show up in the bank? for the lender?
