The police also went into a college building where there were no rioters, cornered a group of innocent students, and, despite the students' pleas, gassed and maced them, but you'll only see that police quelled the riot when you watch the news.
Police brutality (and ignorance) to this degree makes you wonder what kind of entrance exams law enforcement has.
Differentiation between peaceful bystanders and rioters clearly wasn't on their final exams.
There was no situation in the building. No one was screaming, running around, or breaking things. A group of officers gassed innocent students. These are facts.

1. The video is from the students' point of view, and doesn't show why they went into to building.Differentiation between peaceful bystanders and rioters clearly wasn't on their final exams.

They are correct that this doesn't tell them the whole story, but gassing people who are on staircases watching, not wearing bandannas? That's just uncalled for.
I also found it very funny how they claimed it to be unlawful to be at the gathering.
3. Tear gas isn't that bad. "My eyes hurt, boo hoo..." Give me a break.
This kind of thing has been going on since the 1800s
not surprised
and lol @ the clown who said the Rodney King beating was "necessary"
please tell me how an unarmed man posed a threat to those police, stop trying to defend the police when they it's clear they aren't the most level headed citizens
Can you prove they were throwing anything atall? They didn't mention anything in the video about throwing anything upon them(The police). They also, didn't tell them to get down from the staircase because of the harm they could cause if they were to throw items upon them. How do you know they aren't throwing things off of the staircase?

There was a potential threat. Which there is in anything. They took unneeded percautions toward "solving the problem". They could have just passed the people in the staircases, and let them be. But they followed them up the stairs, trapped them, and sprayed them. You are asking for proof about claims you made yourself towards the police.
I highly doubt that all of the Pittsburgh state police are corrupt and abusers (which you are stating)
I also doubt that they just picked out a random building to go into for no reason. There was obviously a threat inside of that building that caused them to enter.

And this was to multiple place. That was not the only one. Stop being so defensive. I'm not placing 100% of the blame on the police, I acknowledged that it could be mostly the fear of the riot. But I also know, that there is no need to corner students off, and spay them.
The student they interviewed implied that there was no threat whatsoever.
