insurance total that is to be paid is $825. Mrpirex1 has paid $200/$825 of that insurance money and was waiting for your verdict to pay the rest.
Can also confirm that I, the buyer of the account, have not received the account since the lock occurred.

Also Pirate, can you please confirm Wel Rick (OO) and MrPirex1 (MM) currently owe me the remainder of the insurance money as per agreement in the contract ($625). Thank you for your time.

 

Hey Pirate. Thanks for the prompt response. Yes, in hindsight, was a stupid decision to MM this trade with $0 upside.

I do not cover bans on game accounts I sell and I always mention it voids any agreement but will support on good-will basis. This is also in line with one of previous Sythe verdict on banned accounts I linked earlier.

Anyhow, please drop your decision on reimbursement (None, partial refund, full refund or full refund divided between OO and MM).

 

Given my busy IRL schedule, I am making a solution to resolve this issue. My liability on this given the facts should be $0 as some terms were breached making insurance invalid in my view.

If Sythe decides otherwise despite other precedence set, I am prepared to take partial responsibility (i.e. 50% of $825) and @Nanobot / @Biggiehiggie remaining. Repaid $200 which leaves me with $212.5. I am happy to reallocate my community repayment credit towards @Katana.

EDIT: This is the best I am willing to go for. If this is not something not in line w/ Sythe opinion, feel free to consider Ban/DNT, etc. Insurance would have been paid out fully w/o all this hassle had the account been stolen back by OO or the lock was simply due to an IP change.

 

I have answered all your points about how I got the money on the account, supplied evidence and mods have practically reviewed the situation and given a solution.

pay however you like, as long as I get the money ASAP (I’ve already been waiting nearly a month), this will be resolved.

The sale was done outside of the server. I am unsure of as to why the transcript was involved as that was seperate. Mrpirex1 (Manager in Peanut services and MM in this situation) decided to take the spot of MM outside of the server and had full faith and trust in the OO (WEL Rick or PVMLORD) as the OO was an EX-worker in peanut services.

Pirex stated 2 posts ago that he wants his community allocation fee to be used for my payment and WEL Rick (OO) will pay the remainder of the payment. If they do not pay and go against the contract, i will post in this thread and make a scam report.

I found the account via Mrpirex1 who suggested it in our DMs as he knew I was in search of an account that was of similar total level. He obviously had plentiful trust in the OO as per mentioned it was his ex-colleague and friend whom he talked to daily.

 

The account in question was done outside of server through PMs (Screen 1 | Screen 2) hence Peanut wasn't party to the contract or any communications.

I understand you may have skimmed the transcript quick so didn't grasp the content well. The "200m attempted scam to recover" was not to recover but was a fee to help get the account unbanned. Like I've said before, our caper was poking fun as Katanas said it's a fee to recover the account.

@Pirate -- Regardless of all these, I've been kicked from my server role. Does @Nanobot / @Biggiehiggie have no liability with this report. You are treating this contract as a 2-party contract (while implicating a server) when it was 3-party contract done through PMs. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you are biased and trying to put competitors out of business (or simply not reading the evidence provided and rushing into verdict)

 

Yes. 200m was meant to be a fee of getting the account unbanned. I was the first one to say I misunderstood the Account Recovery claim accepted as Ban Appeal Accepted and told him to not pay. After that, it was just poking fun given the word technicalities by caper. I could be wrong as it's vague memory but I don't scam

Understood. I will hold myself responsible but could you please clarify 2 things prior to moving forward.
1) What will the OO's responsibility be?
2) What factors lead to the verdict of the case to be different to this

Exactly my point. A ToS was agreed to that bans will not be covered. Let me draw similarities to both reports.

• Account was perm banned in that report as it didn’t show up on hiscores. But report was opened as OO couldn’t unlock it. In this case, OP first said ban then lock but recanted.
• That report has no ToS in place which automatically makes it 2 year warranty. In this case, we agreed explicitly to 2 year warranty

Despite similar circumstances, outcome is different. All in all, Sythe is subjective with no set of rules. Anyway, report covers 3 parties - I’d recommend MM/OO be treated the same.


Repayment of $825 of account as follow:

1. $200 refunded in Dec 2023
2. $215 community payment credit I am eligible for is transferred to Katanas
3. $300 that I will apply in Community Repayment as OO couldn’t recover in this case goes to Katanas
4. Remaining $110 that Katanas will apply in Community Repayment

I consider this my last Sythe post. Will not be using this.
