[ACCEPTED] False advertisements

yeah but sometimes you are registered and bumping 20 forums so its not as easy to have a strict price also prices do change every 1hour on busy times, no big website will do it and the ruling won't really happen or won't get enough support if its a strict price, in my oppinion.

Last time I checked with these people they never had these price (have had these prices for quite some time as title and 95% of the time didn't have these rates)

Ranges aren't gonna work. It's just gonna result in everyone's real offer being on the lowest point of the range and stretching the range as high as possible.

 

I only use ranges on my buy threads because they fluquate on my stock, my sell threads always advertise a steady price as it's exactly the same price I sell for so it's more of people abusing it when they change their ranges every hour or so

 

same thing, the price changes on every single 500m a website receives. The range can be tight as i said, and for example we advertised 0.7 to 0.8 but bought 0.8-0.84 most of our gold last 60days, but we bought some 74cent last 24hrs

@Bogla Makes a prime point, regardless of the rule everyone is still going to be falling under "False Advertisement" by offering the lowest competitive "Range" and of course selling for the lowest or highest end of the range.

I would love to see more community input on this though.

 

@Champ i'd like to Point out that my ranges are only used for buying purposes because that is purely based on stock.

My sell Page on the other hand only advertises one price and one price only.

I feel like this is actually a perfect way to put it because the price of sales are put into the website or messaged to People asking, if I have to change the price on the website I might aswell change the price on the forum cause it's even less of an effort.
However I constantly change of buy price which is why the range is perfect, most of the time it's Middle in it, and it fluctuates a lot.

 

If you can't put an accurate price in your buying thread, then don't put your buying rate in your title at all. It's simple.

I supported this in the previous thread about ranges. Ranges are used to bait customers in and we have seen abuse of this by having 10 cent ranges. This is something that does need to be changed as it is an issue.

 

How about a rate that's the minimum you'll pay for and the maximum you'll sell for, not a range. So either way if someone comes to purchase or sell they either get what is posted or better. That way people won't post rates that they aren't willing to pay.

So say,
Buying RS3 .10/M or Selling RS3 .13/M - you should only be able to buy rs3 for .10/m or higher and sell Rs3 for .13/M or lower. No ranges in the titles. This way the customer gets what is advertised or even better.

From what I have noticed people are getting less than expected, this way itll be what is advertised or better, just my thoughts on this.

 

Seems a easy enough fix for the clickbait, and easy enough to enforce as if someone refuses the price advertised that could be punishable as its price advertised or better

 

I changed my title because im pretty sure this suggestion got approved already but I feel like this is actually retarded because this goes for people who has no stock and still bumps their thread.

Is people going to stop their autobumper each time they don't have stock now?

 

im literally doing 0.7-0.8 for 3+months and didnt buy below 78 for months, and last 24hrs at 84-86cent, ranges are good because many gold sellers have multiple threads and change buy price 20 times through out the day by a few cent depending on stock

 

Hey, its pretty obvious you're using one of my screenshots. the rates is $0.12-.13/M for BTC as my thread says. $0.17 is Paypal/site prices.

to back that up, I'm more than happy to show chat convos of me selling for .12-.13 from that time period.

Price baiting and promising 8 different payment methods, when in reality they only accept btc or pp? XD
So many sellers had Skrill as payment method, but when I asked about it on livechat they didn't offer it.
