9/11/01.. Government Set-Up?

Well, yes.. I am very suspicious of my Government.

I mean, it's a Democracy, so what? We are "supposed" to have this Freedom to Vote, but it seems that we have lost the Freedom to live. The Government holds the "black finger", and uses it at their own discretion, in my opinion.

And about the Constitution. It's Ammendments have been revised/deleted over time, and a lot of it may seem to stand true, but in reality, it doesn't.

The conspiracy theory videos really stretch to find some weird coincidences. Some stuff, like the devils face in the smoke, isn't even real.

 

Don't dwell on the past, it's impossible to change it.

 

I love this country, I have my suspicions but 9/11 isn't one of them. I dont have a problem with the Patriot Act, as I think thats what you are insinuating (SP?)...I have nothing to hide, so spy on me all you want.

For the Bill of Rights you quoted...doesnt Obama want to infringe on the right to bear arms? I mean, stricter gun laws would do that...

 

Sure they love me, I'm still here typing about it with you? No one is going to come and break down my door and haul me away never to be seen again.

How can you say that I dont support or understand the principles that we were founded on? I still live in the USA and would never move out of it because of our principles, no matter how shady or grey they may be.

 

How do i not support freedom if I am willing to give it up for a short period of time to allow the Govt to find and prosecute those willing to do us harm? I just see the Patriot Act giving the Govt the ability to do their job better, without jumping through legal hoops. Sure, it was taken far a few times, but allowed the govt to stop unknown amount of sleeper cells in the USA. But this is getting more off topic with each post I believe as this is about 9/11 lol.

As for the amendments? IMO, we still have them...still have our guns (at least until Obama takes them away). We dont have illegal seizures, and if we do they dont hold up in court. Etc, etc.

As for the video, very interesting. The govt shouldnt have to tell the whole American population what they are doing as it does not benefit us. But if something like that happens (bad reactions, etc) then they should step up and share what they did.

People like you are the reason I have given up any hope for freedom. You willingly sacrifice your liberty, and you demand that everybody else gives up their freedom for "safety"
Why is it ok for the government to do these things, but not other people?

 

This isn't temporary safety. This country is safer then it ever was thanks to that Act. The act may not be here still (its not is it?) and if it isnt this country is still safe. Why? because we already found out what we needed to and took action against them. Therefore this country will be at this level of safety and only continue to increase.

I didnt demand that people give up their freedom for safety, but if you have nothing to hide, whats the problem? It is ok for the Govt to do these things, because it is their duty to protect the population of their country. Other people can't do these things because they do not have the power to do it. The gov't has checks and balances so one person doesnt have all the power, these acts cannot just appear because one person likes it. It has to be voted on and passed....besides America was all gung-ho about getting it. That is why not any Joe, Dick or Harry can make up Acts/Laws.

 

The Patriot Act is still in effect, albeit a modified version of it.

As this so called 'Safety' increases, so will the rights of the citizens decrease.

Also, even if I had absolutely nothing to hide, that does not mean I would let people I don't even know and people I didn't even allow, to search my property.

And yes, it is temporary safety.

Also, the country is safer from what? And where did you get the information that brought you to conclude that the country is safe(r) now?

 

They were already safe, and the strongest country, but they had to fake a terrorist act, to start a war. You sir need to think before you speak. And, safety might increase, until it goes corrupt, until it destroys itself, which i would expect from the US government. And, yeah, everyone has the power to do things, the government likes to try and stop it, if everyone rebelled, the government would be destroyed, which would be a plus side, haha.

No, and im glad, very glad indeed i am not. US is the country id never want to live in. And yes, if you saw the towers fall you'd see the bombs the US government set up inside the towers. And i am thinking, but you are not, "sir".

2) How the hell would we make money off of destroying one of the Icons of America?! As I said before, Iraq was not that related to 9/11, it was based on false information about WMDs in Iraq.

5) I Watched the GODDAMN AIRPLANES FLY INTO THE TWIN TOWERS! I watched people jump out of the highest windows and people in the streets run in fear, so dont tell me the US Govt planned this attack. And do you have pictures of the so called "bombs" the US Govt put in the Towers? By all means show me pictures.
