If only 'Report a spammer'/'Report a scammer' sections would be more visited by moderators :/

 

This would improve activity, but in a negative way. I say a week and 50+ posts to post in the black market and have a rule to encourage 'Post on my thread before adding' rules when dealing with trades.

Like SRL-Forums.com, the posts could be checked for spam and be allowed access into black market if everything checks out to be satisfactory.

 

Or you could make it so they need that 200-250 posts and they must have been a sythe member for say 10-15 days.

 

Very good idea IMO.

 

They are, but it takes time for them to be looked at and many mods / admins do not have the time to go through them all.

10-15 days is no time at all. The 200 posts can be done in about 2 days.

 

AGREED they shouldnt be able to post or SEE the blackmarket...

That would lead to a loss of profit for Sythe as huge amounts of guests view the black market and if those 150 guests or so stop viewing pages, Sythe does not make as much cash from the ads. If you did not know, Sythe made Sythe to make money.

 

and it would also lead to a mass decrease in leecher scammers. if you really want to sell and account, you should be able to wait a while and gain trust. not jsut make an account, take a pic of your account while your bored and training and say your selling it then "IM NOT GOEN FERST ULL SCAM M3 U GOE FIRST BCUZ MMS ARE BS AND THEY SCAM ALL TIME"

Most people that post in the black market are likely to be under 250 posts.

If you are getting scammed that much just use a MM =/

 

i do agree with this. it would make the community safer with a lot of less scammers. but spam could also be a problem. but you could over come it and make it maby 125

 

it would not lower the amount of scammers, just increase the number of spammers.

 

In lots of ways I agree with this, because the people who use the black market to scam will be needing a post count well over 200, and have to spam the forums to get it up, which makes it more obivous you detect one. Also, the ones who do get banned, will have to keep making new accounts and ban evade, and basically the new system will frustrate them to where they stop coming here to scam, and maybe get a life.

For all who agree:

There will be a huge increase in spam. If you guys judge people by post count, you deserve to be scammed. People will just post randomly in all forums, then do one scam, and re-join.

 

It only takes a few hours to get 200 posts if you spend 2 hours a day on sythe for like 4 days. Many scammers would just stick with it... or they would just pm people saying i will buy! and if they can not view the forum sythe would lose huge amounts of money

 

Which makes it more obvious there here to scam and spam, and the moderators will be able to detect them alot faster. What about sending private messages, it's not going to have an effect from a leecher saying, "ill buy ur account add my msn [email protected]".

The moderators do not "detect" scammers. They have to scam to get banned... or try to scam... and some people will trade with a leecher if no one else will buy...

its the scammed persons fault for letting themselves be scammed... we need to educate people on how not to be scammed, not keep people from scamming. with education comes less scammers...

 

I am for this idea.

This would greatly reduce the ammount of scamming daily on these forums.
Even though the spamming would increase, Mods, like ubanned has said, will catch on to the spamming and take action.

This would better the community in my opinion.

 

If this was passed, it would not stop scamming.

Instead it would cause spamming thoughtout the entire forum, expect for the black market, then when they got enough posts they scam.

I don't support; don't say I don't support just because I am a leecher, because I honestly don't think it would be good for this forum.

 

All the people with 200 or less post count say no . Anyway, I think it would cause alot of spam but many scammers would GTFO.
