Why do you still play runescape?

runescape is fun game, i'v been playing sense 03 yea im sorta veteran. but any way the game does get boring your right but its still fun. Runescape is nice cause its a browser based game. no downloads or nothing. that means free computer space etc. btw games like wow have been found to have keyloggers in there downloading shit. also you have to buy a upgrade c.d for wow if im not mistaken which ads extra money on. some one said it was an "addicting game" that you get sick if you don't play it. if you feel that way about runescape or wow your a SUPER N3RD.

I play RS because Im maxed melee and got 320mil. It took a lot of work and starting over on WOW just seems not worth all the effort it took to become a good player on RS. I also would hate to have to learn all the items and stuff all over again. I do find that RS becomes dull and boring at times.

The thing I hate most is the community. Full of 10-13 year old spoiled punk ass kids who think their kool if they annoy the shit out of you, insult you or call you nerd for being a high lvl. Either way they always think their superior to you in some way. For example if Im on my low lvl pure, these lvl 60 idiots will go up to me and say hahahahaahahh noob!!! If im on my main, they will become jealous bastards and say wow nerd of rs much??

So yeh fuck the community tbh, but still theres some pretty cool ppl on it.

i play because i dont intend to pay $15 a month for graphix that are slightly better than rs, i also dont play wow because i dont want to download 15GB of shit on my computer.

dude, get real, the only reason RS has lower level GFX than WoW is because RS is browser based and jagex intends to keep it that way. for wow, u need to DL a ton of shti just for slightly better GFX and to pay 3x as much. yes, my somputer would kill itself for even trying to play the demo of wow because it has only 512mb Ram and other low qualities but even if i had a fucking super computer, i would still play rs becuse its better than WOW in my mind.

jagex made it with low GFX so people with slower computers can still play the game. for WoW you need atleast a GB of RAM, 3.00 GHz processer, and a huge ass hard drive for all of the pointless files to fit in.
yes, i know u only need like a 30gb HDD for it but come on. i dont need 15gb of space being used in my computer for a video game when i could have something alittle more useful.

RS isint dead, the same amount of ppl play now as it was in 07. around 150k-200k ppl at once in the day time. this is the norm for 05-07.

there alot of reasons why i still play and one of them is because i get bored VERY VERY easily and theres not much to do in this town i live in, so i play rs for a couple hours a day to spend some time. i also play because like 5+ of my irl friends play, one of them is famous in rs,and no, he isint a "nerd", he has a gf and alot fo friends.

to be famous in wow, u need to no life... tbh that famous friends brother is really famous in WoW. he used to be the top PKer in 1v1 2v2 and 3v3 in WoW. he has like 4 lvl 80s and alot of gold. but he has to no life to do it. hes on there like always but he actually has a gf(dont ask me how).


pretty much, i play rs stil because it is still a fun game if you know what your doing and you actually have a goal in the game. if you have a lot of nice friends who also play then its even better. tbh u dont need to pay for rs mem if u make mills ingame and then trade a mill a month or every 3 months or w.e to get mem. its easy as pie.

I play Runescape because I've played it since the beginning and I'm in love with it. Compared to Runescape classic, these graphics are amazing, especially for a java based game. It's continuing to grow and will soon surpass even WoW

 

The reason why it takes so little RAM is a genious concept of not downloading every little graphic, but having a code system (soz forget the actual wording, as it was ages since i read about it)
And I like how they change "crap" around, makes it different, makes it new

 

I don't play wow because it's too late to start playing it. + in wow you need to use your 30 days wise, because it costs more. wow = low life IMO.

 

I play this game because its basic, it takes time to do stuff, its not a really huge game like WoW, or 2moons, etc. I also play cs:source, but yeah. Pvp is fun, killing little nerds and makin em cry cuz they lost a whip is great, its mostly 11-13 year old kids that cry, and complain, and its funny looking at poor people, or peopl who envy you and think you're god over the game. that is why i still play runescape.
