Why is Sythe dead?

Do you's think Sythe and osrs will ever re-populate? i remember 2014 this place was crazy, hopefully it does because it's a cool community.

 

I like how you considered Sythe and OSRS as one and the same. It makes it clear how much you've actually thought about writing this down.

I don't think it is dead.
Sythe currently has 930 active users and OSRS has 49000
Far from dead, admittedly there's been a decline in activity in certain parts of the game; but hopefully future updates will repopulate them.

 

Yeah I hope so man, would be sad to see it go, I still think it's pretty cool to think people play the game 18 years on

 

Everything has a lifespan, sure.
But Sythe and Runescape still have a lot left in them.

And in many ways, it's more than possible that Sythe would outlive RuneScape.

 

You just need 1 person to talk too and consider it not dead.

I wouldn’t consider sythe dead, there is plenty of activity daily and we must be the leading RuneScape market.

Also you joined this month so curious how you know the activity levels of sythe in 2014?

Oldschool is still going strong. still get almost 100k ppl on at peak times. just like Richard, Jagex will keep osrs going as long as there is profit to be made.

About that, I was banned for re-selling an account, at the time I didn't think it was banable, any how, it doesn't say anywhere if your banned you can't create an account over a year later? I made a silly mistake reselling it
