PS3 vs Xbox360

ps3 is much better in my opinion, i tried it at my friends house and the graphics are simply amazing
 
I own one and the graphics are not the best in the world, at least for the games currently out fo the PS3. I prefer the xbox 360, because the "better" and morte popular games are coming out for the 360

Now, Xbox 360 has the problem of no backward compatability, which is sort of bullshit that I would need to buy Far Cry Evolution again in a 360 version in order to play it. So, I think it's not that big of a deal when you have other great sellers coming out (Halo 3, Mass Effect, and many, many others!), it just would have been a hell of alot more helpful.

SHITTY LINE UP FOR GAMES.

I loved the PS2.

It was the first console I ever saved up my money for.
And the game selection?
Just great!
You hade all the classics!
The Jak series, Ratchet and Clank series, God of War one and two...

But what happened?

Why am I looking at a game called Heavenly Blade which is the exact rip off of God of War, except it sucks.
I played Resistance, and I hated it with a godly passion.
I'd die within 30 seconds intervals, the controls were funky, and it wasn't that good of graphics.
Sure, you may have the 6th Ratchet and Clank, so...I guess you could give you props *Swallows hard* for that.
"Lair" was supposed to be the PS3 saver, but guess what??
Because of it's bad control design and stupid wireless control tilt axis thing, it made the game just fucking terrible.
Which brings me to another point!


Why did they take out the rumble pack!!!???
It made no sence to put in this new function on the controller which...I have no idea what to call it other than "P.O.S.".
The controller design is...I have one complaint. The L2 and R2 button are very akward to get used to. It should have been buttons like the last system.


My fingers are getting tired, and I need to read from my list of reasons of why I hate the PS3 to put more material up.

Useless shit is the term used by someone who knows nothing about those functions. Like bigger games? More stages? Well news flash for you dickhead, you need bigger disk space. "Duh make bigger dvd's then?" Yeah thats what blu ray is you tool. Bluetooth useless? Yeah i guess wireless keyboards, wireless mouses and wireless HEADSETS are useless too. Is it better when you can ONLY purchase console SPECIFIC items? Why did they take out the rumble? well i thought that was obvious ffs, rumble screws up motion sensor, retard. You died in 30 seconds playing resistance? Well thats whats so good about it, it clears out the noobs, I've beaten it on hard mode and playing it on superhuman, its not that hard, just hard for noobs. Graphics weren't great? Were you playing it in high definition? Probably not. Don't post about things you don't understand.

Calm down jeeeeeze lol, Never saw so much flaming in my life in one paragraph lol.

Anywho. I actually enjoyed reading this because I'm trying to figure out what system I want to buy. Honestly I can give 2 shits about the "graphics" and all the other junk. I just want to play some good games.

My only motivation for xbox360 is, halo3, gears of war, and all those other good gun games they have like call of duty etc (ps3 has it im sure) and most all my friends have 360 over ps3.

Ps3 on the other hand has Socom and up and coming socom4 + ps2 never failed me. Ive had my ps2 since it first came out never died on me. I'm sure xbox fixed there red ring of doom or whatever people call it lol.

Edit: Im leaning more towards 360, because I feel it has better game play (in my opinion)
ps3 cost an arm and a leg + they got rid of the rumble pack (wich was a big mistake to me, the axis thing doesnt do it) The controller now feels light and cheap (once again in my opinion)

Don't say that Xbox360 Isn't backwards compatible. It is somewhat backwards compatible. Every few months Microsoft comes out with an update to download allowing you to play old games on your xbox360.

here is a list showing what games are currently backwards compatible.

I own an Xbox 360 and love it. I can't say that it is better then the ps3 because ive never used a ps3.

Well in your case if you don't care about graphics or anything, are you planning to play online or offline? Since if you want to play offline then AT THE MOMENT xbox has more games, but if you wanna play online then its free for ps3 plus you get those free updates etc. PS2 was around for 5 years before ps3 came out (in Australia, other countries may differ) therefore PS3 you can expect 5 years. 5 x $ 60 = $300. And what do you know, thats your difference in price. The price your paying for xbox to play online adds up to the same cost as a ps3 since you pay nothing for online and yet you get more functions with the ps3. PS3 is currently more a multiplayer console, awesome online with great online features. Though Xbox has more games, give playstation a break, its coming up with tons, they just aren't released yet. The games playstation has in store are amazing. Do you want GTA:IV? Well now ps3 has an uncompressed GTA:IV. Since it has pretty much unlimited disk space thanks to blu ray, it is making their GTA:IV massive, which shits on Xbox's pathetic compressed, small GTA:IV.

Type in google "playstation 3 home" and watch the trailer. This shits on xbox live. It is not out yet but when it is out, what do you know, ITS FREE.

EDIT: I just read first post again and it says you can dl stuff from a store On PS3.....Well......On 360 You can also. Plus on Xbox360 if you got a Football game or any other sports.....Apparently.....They can update it.

PS3 has the same thing, all games can be updated, your system gets updated too.

If xbox live is so similar to PS3 online then how is PS3 online so shit?
 
ps3 for the game and take all xbox's games and make em ps3 =)

Im looking basicly to just play online. Im still leaning towards 360 though because of price (yes I know its been awile since 360 came out and the price dropped, and ps3 will drop too eventually) but I dont really want to wait for that + they got rid of the rumble pack! <------Yes thats a big deal X)

You should at least veiw the trailer called "ps3 home". It MIGHT change your mind.
