Abortion

she can commit 1st degree murder. It's pathetic that people can't see the baby is a human being! It has a heart, brain, and it has organ systems. Why can't you fucking understand that, Darren? It's not that fucking hard. We've lost our animal instinct to take care of our young. Do you see chimpanzees throwing their babies out? I don't think so!

Get your facts straight, you can not have a surgical abortion if the baby has a heart, brain.

It has to still be a "cell" for it to be eliminated.

It is only 1st degree murder when it has left the mothers womb and is covered by its own rights.

But it has the potential to be.
Potential life =/= life, just as potential energy =/= kinetic energy. There are 'conversions', but before that, potential is potential. Therefore, a fetus is not a separate being, and is not worthy of rights. The women could potentially commit suicide, killing both, thus furthering the point even more; it is not a separate independent being.

It is the Woman's right to abort a child. It is surviving off her in the womb. It is "leeching" as said above.

Ummm, actually the baby does not have fully developed organ systems yet. While it is in the womb, it can not eat, drink, sleep or live on its own. It is COMPLETELY dependent on your mother. Mr. James, the quote you took says that it has organ systems, this is false. It does have some systems, but has not developed those necessary for survival.

Finally, murder is described as "one human killing another", so since a baby does not have the fully developed organ systems until it has left the womb, it is not FULLY human. Also, it can not think rationally and can not live on its own, which are both traits of human beings. So until it can think and live, it can not be considered a "human", but can be considered a living being.

how? if it's alive in the womb?

No, I don't. Let's say I have sex and then I become pregnant (by accident). Obviously I would want an abortion. It's better to kill someone that's not fully aware than live with your life in poverty trying to feed a kid that you didn't want in the first place.

Well, it depends. I don't think killing babies is right, but say a woman is raped, then i think it should be her decision whether or not to carry the baby through or to have an abortion. Now, say you don't wear a condom, no abortion. Just put it up for adoption or raise it. And if you do wear a condom, don't get an abortion either. It's a womans fault to go out to decide and have sex without wanting a kid.

Do you think it's a baby? Why, then, is it acceptable to kill it if the mother was raped?

^Because it was not her choice whether to have that baby. The mother probably didn't want to have sex all of a sudden, either, with a random stranger. For all we know, the mother could have been a teenager of 14 years old. I think abortion is wrong, you're actually killing a living human being, but in these kinds of situations...it's the mother's choice, I guess.

If it's a human being with the full rights of one, then the circumstances should not matter, ever. Would you find it acceptable to kill a 20 year old man to spare a woman part of the trauma of rape?

I think It should be legal for anybody 15 or under to have a child. I think anybody over the age of 15 should be responsible enough to have a brain in their head and think about consequences. If the person wishing to have an abortion is raped or something similar when they could not help it then that is a different story...

No, of course I wouldn't...but that's not the same situation .
