It doesn't receive rights because it's just a baby. Does a 1 month-old infant have rights'? Nope. They don't even know what the word means. Fuck it..Even when you're my age you still don't have rights. The rights are given to the mother because they're supposed to love and take care of the child. A one month infant is a separate being who will become rational (they are not yet humans proper), so they are accorded rights.

I think it should be illegal. If you don't want to get pregnant, use a condom simple as that or at least arrange some sort of contraceptive method ie patch. I don't think anyone has the right to deny a life. If you get pregnant after you hit it up you shouldn't be able to claim ignorance as an excuse. If it's your body then take some responsibility for it. Actions have consequences I think people need to learn that. On the other hand it should be legal in extreme circumstances, ie rape.

You have the potential to become a surgeon but you could wind down a number of roads. A fetus on the other hand has one path - that's to become a fully fledged human.

Condoms protect people from unwanted births and std's. By not using one your basically asking to have a baby....then when you realize you have a living organism in you, 2 weeks down the road you call for an abortion. By wearing a condom you're not preventing a life you're simply taking steps to make sure nothing comes out of it that you don't want.

A non-rational, non-separate being does not have rights. You may terminate their life at any point.
