Explanation of the trade: Buyer bought this account on December 11th, account was locked December 22nd/23rd.


Amount scammed: 500m paid price for the account + 400m+ in items on the account.

How they scammed: Account is locked, failing to recover account. - Never mentioned he was not the OO.

Since this thread was posted, TWO appeal results have arrived in the e-mail inbox that came with the account.
Here is a screenshot showing the LAST response from Jagex, and the two BRAND NEW responses that were sent after this scammer thread was made.

Kinda seems fishy, considering it had been 5 days since the last response...

User agreeded to my TOS before buying account. I never told him im OO. He never asked though. Account got locked on christmas time. I tried to.help him even i dont have too. I was trying every day till yesterday, when this leech crunch created False titled scam report.
Account is still locked.
Strange how there is 400M not 4B though.

A buyer shouldn't have to ask if the seller of an account is the OO. It should be clearly listed in your account sale thread. & I'm not sure whom told you about there being 4b on the account. Also, what exactly do you think I'm getting out of this? I don't believe "leech" is the correct term here. Maybe something more along the lines of oh idk.. daddy, papi, papi chulo, or well, a decent human. k thx

 

Becouse its obv if you run into seller like me who has multiple accounts listed on thread and 100+ sold in year. I don't have anything to say for you more leech.

 

and? That's your excuse? Multiple people on this forum sell a mixed array of accounts. Personal - and accounts they're reselling. It is your job as the seller to let any potential buyer know where the account came from.

Poor trading practice. Period, then end.

 

@24 7 I simply wanted a lasting account to play this game on.
Nobody ever said there was 4b on the account. You talked down to me even before this report was made because I was anxious about my acc status. Work on your attitude and maybe you'll avoid problems in the future. I'm no longer comfortable, however, playing this account. Seller is in it only for the money, could care less about customers post sale. Doesnt inform hes not OO, thinks I would assume so.
EDIT: If the account is ever unlocked, which 24 7 INSISTS will occur, what's the issue? I get a refund, he resells the account and gains my 400m free.

 

@24 7 - A warning must be given to users if they are purchasing an account you are not the OO of. As such, this is a valid request for refund and you will need to return the amount he paid for the account.

The items on the account will not be refunded as we have no way to verify if they were there.

 

Any updates?

 

Figured I'd update this as there have been no advancements.
