Meh, Rose and Melo together might not be too bad if they can avoid becoming injured throughout the season.

Not true, Cavaliers and Spurs both have very strong teams, then the Bulls have a pretty decent team as well. Plus, anyone could upset the Warriors on any given night.

I don't think the issue with the Knicks is Melo, he's getting older but he isn't a terrible player when he wants to play. The past few years he's known he has a shit team, but with this years roster they can evolve and finally get over .500.

 

Hopefully Derrick Rose returns to the Knicks and he rape trial goes good, otherwise that's a devastating loss for them.

 

agree 100%, rose's problem has always been that he wasn't surrounded by good enough players to help him win multiple championships

 

Unfortunately, yeah. Rose had Noah (which he has now), had Gasol, and had Butler last year which were his star players but the main problem is he can't keep himself healthy (or in this case, out of trouble). I wish the best for him though, really was excited to see him join forces with Melo and hopefully overcome a losing percentage this year.

 

His injuries played a big role in that too lol.

 

thoughts on the spurs thinking about trading away LaMarcus Aldridge?

 

Highly doubt they will -- the Spurs have arguably the best front court in the NBA, with Aldridge, Gasol, and Leonard.

Warriors and Knicks. Having Rose available again after that bogus trial is definitely lifting my spirits up for this season. I've liked the Warriors for the past couple years, and their last pregame was pretty good, KD had 25? points and Steph had 35. I'm hoping they can just destroy this year.

 

ya the warriors kinda suprised me, i didn't think they'd do so well with KD the first few games just cause they don't know each other's flow/play style, but guess not lol

Yeah, they're definatrly going to do well this year even when without Timmy. Leonard sure came in with a bang. Simmons with 20pts off the bench too. Little disappointed about Gasol's minutes and play though.
