Kevin Durant will be on the market next summer

    http://tipofthetower.com/2015/08/06/four-lessons-toronto-raptors-fans-learned-this-offseason/4/

Durant obviously really enjoys the city of Toronto rocking the new Jays pitcher Price jersey and attending OVO fest for the second straight year there is a possibility of Durant coming to Toronto.

My best bet though is he staying in OKC I don't see him leaving he's one of these loyal types.

Worst case scenario he goes to Washington that would just suck a lot Wizards would turn into a power house contender.

Kevin Durant isn't leaving OKC. He will probably test free agency, but that's about it.

The cavs are looking formidable now. With Richard Jefferson signing, it covers the backup sf position with a true forward, not to mention RJ shot 43% from 3, making him expandable. All that's left for the cavs is to sign JR Smith and Tristan Thompson. The cavs also have 2 trade exceptions which may come in handy down the line. If healthy, this is the best team.

Tristan Thompson won't be doing anything long term with the Cav's it's clear he doesn't want to be coming off the bench even for a championship...

He's asking for a lot of money as well more the Cav's can afford he'll probably end up taking a 1 year qualifying offer from the Cav's and then become a Unrestricted free agent next summer in which he will 100% leave Cleveland and maybe come to Toronto but unless he get's some better offensive game I feel like Toronto will not be willing to pay him the ridiculous amount of money the man is demanding.

Told you guys Tristan Thompson is not staying with Cleveland man does not want to be coming off the bench he's arguably top 3 offensive rebounder in the League he deserves to start...

95 million though still he don't deserve that unless his offense improves 10 fold.

He's insane.. I can't believe he thinks he deserves to earn more than Kyrie.

He's a really good player and was a big reason why Cleveland beat Chicago in the playoffs his rebounding was amazing... When you give Lebron second chances usually he doesn't mess up.

But his rebounding is not worth 95 million LOOOL he's still very young once his offense improves he will be a really good player getting double doubles every game for sure.

Do you think he's worth 80m max deal? Because he turned that down. He thinks he should be making 95m coming off the bench. His rebounding skills are amazing, but yeah.. No way he's worth that much, even if he developed his offensive game to someone like Paul Millsap.

The salary cap is going up a lot though in 2-3 years 80 million will not be that much for a 5 year deal.

The funny thing is Cleveland would actually offer 95 million if they could the problem is they are way over the luxury tax already they just can't do it and no team will offer Tristan anything because Cleveland will just match it...

So now Cleveland is either going to have to trade him and get something in return or risk him walking away next off season.

But let's just take a closer look at Tristan he was offered 80 million 5 years

    Tristan Thompson

    Draymond Green

As you can see Draymond is clearly the better player he shoots the 3 he moves the ball 5.2 assists per game in the playoffs his points per game are more and he is by far a way better defender actually one of the best in the league and to top things off he helped his team win the championship.

    Draymond Green Contract

Well as you can see Tristan Thompson is clearly asking waaaay more then he deserves

Raptors are the most boring team to watch, this coming from someone in Toronto.
Everyone expects them to make the playoffs, nobody expects them to get past the first round. Unless something changes, we're stuck in this rut for the next few years.

They're not bad, entertainment wise. But yeah its unfortunate that they can't pass round 1 of the playoffs.

The Standing by the end of the season will be as followed...

    EAST

    1. Cleveland
    2. Chicago
    3. Toronto
    4. Atlanta
    5. Washington
    6. Miami
    7. Milwaukee
    8. Indiana

    WEST

    1. Golden State
    2. Oklahoma City
    3. LA Clippers
    4. San Antonio
    5. Houston
    6. Memphis
    7. New Orleans
    8. No idea....

In the East Cleveland will be on top for sure but from number 2-5 the order can change but those teams will fill 2-5 for sure.

The West top 4 teams will be those I listed but again the order can change as for the 8th spot in the West it's honestly a wild card and up for grabs for the first time in a long time.

Every team in the East 1-8 should finish above .500 for the first time in a while.

The West's 8th spot will not have a record good enough to be top 4 in the East this season.

If Westbrook and Durant stay healthy and play to there potential one of them will get the MVP award for sure.

What makes you say this? West has historically killed the east so just wondering why the sudden change in this season

The top 4 teams in the East will win 47 or more games the 8th seed in the West will not win more then 45 games.

    Just look at some of the possible teams that could finish in that 8th seed;

Dallas - Max 45 wins they got worse
Portland - Lost one All-star and another Starter...
Phoenix - Max 45 wins there roster isn't good enough in the West
    Nuggets - Aren't they tanking?
Kings - Cousins is good but Rudy Gay is not reliable enough to win more then 40...

Looking at those 5 teams the Lakers actually might have a chance at the playoffs if Kobe stays healthy.

The Eastern Conference has gotten a lot better over the past two seasons it's still not better then the West but its starting to balance itself out.

Did you guys see that First Take show when Stephen A ranted about KD calling him out. Feels like some kind of Drake/Weak Mill type of shit.

I think the team that has the best chances of winning it all is the Cavs but the Spurs/OKC is right up there if KD can stay healthy. He's an offensive machine.
