You should have a look at how it was when Sir Alex Ferguson started his United career. Yes will be exciting.

    Lmao learn to argue.

You come back at me by saying 13 Premier league titles and I don't know the difference between Old Division 1 and the Premiership. Is that a base of an argument? lmao. Don't talk trash because you been to 1 football game in your life calling people you have no idea about a glory hunter. Are those United supporters that wave around a board saying 20 also glory hunters? You had nothing to say so you go into details as to what those 20 league titles actually consist off....

Football is different because of football fans like yourself. Now if a club has money they are big. Nothing to do with football traditions and such...

Furthermore, your the one making all the speculation yet I'm childish for stating facts.

I would love to see Ronaldo come back to the Premiership but I don't think it will happen. Madrid will probably off-load some players though and I imagine said players would find there way to the Premiership. If Felaini does join you guys, would be a great signing. You need that terrier in the middle of the park who isn't afraid to throw himself around. Should have really snapped up Tiote two seasons ago though!

I wouldn't be surprised to see us (Newcastle) drop down again. Cabaye is on his way out and I think that could see Ben Arfa leaving on transfers deadline day again. Cashley has once again thrown the club into disarray by appointing that IDIOT. It seems they want Pardew out but his contract has no clause in it. Would also expect to see Sunderland and Stoke around the bottom of the table too.

I agree, it seems rather unlikely. I believe next summer would certainly be a possibility though, as long as he doesn't sign a new contract between now and then. I agree it's a shame we missed out on Tiote! But we've never managed to replace Keane imo, and we need somebody that can fill that role.

Hmm I don't see Newcastle dropping personally, I think they might get into a bit of a scrap near the bottom if Cabaye/Ben Arfa do depart, but I think they have enough about them to stay up, or at least I hope so.

You're right with Stoke too, they'll certainly struggle trying to adapt to a new style of play under Hughes, unless he pulls a few transfers out of the bag that will allow the transition between styles to become a bit smoother.

Hey guy's I am a Swansea fan (born and live in Swansea) - used to watch us in league two :D

I don't think Uniteds squad has improved enough to keep up with the much improved other squads, and they were hardly amazing against us, RVP made 3 goals and Bony only played the second half.
If you want to watch Swansea - ITV4 tonight 7:30

I think Southampton and Norwich have made good signings too, and Cardiff have 2 very good players in Caulker and Medel :s

Europa League qualifying? Will be watching that for sure. Thanks for the heads up!

I watched Arsenal last night and they looked much improved from the team that played Villa. They still need to bring in a striker, midfielder, defender and goalkeeper to have any chance of the league though.
Ramsey has really started to come on as a footballer now and with Arteta injured, he doesn't have to play out of position. Walcott is becoming a top player too, great assist last night.

What do you mean they were "hardly amazing"..that was a tough road opener against a hungry team and they won easily. Yeah there were moments of Swansea brilliance, but Manchester United was never truly threatened in that game. While I agree with everyone in the fact that other teams improved vastly, they needed to make those improvements because they got absolutely obliterated last year in the title chase. Manchester United can afford to be more complacent, and there's still a while yet before transfers become final.

I hope you know how many players refused to sign for Manchester United. It's not that United doesn't need any players because they are too good for the other teams, because they aren't.

Not what I said, I said that other teams NEEDED to make moves or they would have gotten throttled again. Last year wasn't even close, and Chelsea & Manchester City knew this. Yes, a lot of people refused Manchester United, because the teams themselves do not want to perpetuate Manchester United's reign at the top...that is why Manchester United is always offered astronomically higher prices. When you build a dynasty, it is very difficult to maintain that dynasty, even with limitless resources. Teams are very reluctant to give players the nod to Manchester United, barring some major inflation of prices. Manchester United is still fully capable of beating the new & improved Chelsea and Manchester City. Everyone acts as if a change in management (which isn't even really a change as Moyes is simply Fergie's puppet master) is the end of Manchester United. Yes, Manchester United needs a midfielder and some help in the back, but with great talents in RVP and imo one of the best goalkeepers in the BPL, Manchester United will always have a chance.

& Frankly I was slightly unimpressed with Chelsea yesterday, they easily could have lost that game by a couple of goals. Some absolutely atrocious calls helped see them secure the 3 pts. They dominated possession, but I felt AV had the better chances in the 2nd half. But I'm not going to complain about the refs, because it is very well documented that Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, etc. all get some really crap calls that influence and ruin games. Manchester United is not immune to this and I know it. I do, however, feel bad for AV for not getting at least one pt (surely everyone can agree Terry was guilty of a handball??) Chelsea is clearly the better team if not the best in the BPL this year, but I thought that game was crap...despite the possession domination AV could have had 3-4 goals easily. But Chelsea's defense isn't the same without David Luiz playing.

do you have any quotes where the football players refused? I couldn't find anything apart from clubs saying no. Just like Chelsea said no to Barcelona regarding Luiz. What does that even mean though?

This. The players themselves rarely refuse, because it's usually up to the club anyway.

Last big profile names to decline a move/contract would be Shearer and Tevez. But honestly, a lot of this stuff stays out of the media till a player retires.

Bale is going. That is obvious enough. Needs to be a big media circus around that kind of move.

Bale is not worth the coin. Real Madrid is making a mistake I think.

No true Manchester United fan would say that Bale is better than Ronaldo/Messi if we bought him, stop talking from your ass please.

In regards to being worth the coin, people are comparing it to the fee for Ronaldo, and then comparing the players, which is wrong IMO.

Got to take into account other factors, such as the fact that almost ALL players are ridiculously priced these days. If you want quality, you need to pay for it. Also, you need to add on the "Levy Tax" ;)

Bale is a quality player assuming he isn't a one season wonder, nobody can deny that. Whether he's worth almost £100m or not, well, is anybody? o_O that's just the inflated prices these days.

Not quite sure who this was aimed at?

Swansea are one of the few teams I actually enjoy to watch play. They play an attractive style of football, and have no fear, regardless of how "big" the opposition may be. As I said earlier, I can see them pushing for Europa this season, or perhaps even a cheeky Champions League qualification from winning the Europa ;)

Lol? Such a dumb assumption. You want to tell me Bale is worth more than Ronaldo was? Okay then...just lost all respect for your ability to argue coherently lol. If Man U was paying that much, I'd have big problems with it. Stop assuming things, it makes you look ignorant.

Just because it's an inflated market doesn't mean he's still worth that much & deserves that much. Not every Manchester United fan is an idiot like you act they all are.
