Don't know how to feel with our current form and squad - I have never been in this position before supporting THFC, so I am tempered and waiting for it all to collapse. But maybe it's different this time? Feels like something special at the club right now...

Looking outside of Spurs, Stoke are definitely flirting with the drop - could be worth having a dabble there. They have some other relegation favourites up next.

 

Getting nervous for them finishing first over Tottenham though?

It's getting pretty interesting here.

I still think Chelsea wins but it's gotten a lot more interesting than I thought it would.

 

Again, I don't know how to feel with being so good and 4 points of the Chelski. Who knows what happens from here...

Losing Zlatan is the ultimate kick to the gut. Now Pogba may be injured too. I'll go Chelsea Tottenham City United.

I think Liverpool will choke out of the top 4.

I still hope Manchester United wins Europa League. It'd be cool to win.

 

United Mourinho is just a massive suckfest with the media this season. Pogba has been average, makes sure he does a skill or two every game to get noticed - let's not forget they bought him back for ~90m odd.

United try to justify that theyre not doing shit by creating this new 'top 6 race' to disguise the reality they may not make top 4 again. Then Mourinho rests players in EPL for Europa league to further justify saying we value that competition more.

I am calling it now United will get in final with OL and park the bus then Pogba will score some lucky goal and Jose and United will make spin the lines of 'this is why we bought him'.

 

Well I think at the time Mou was saying Europa was the priority was when the top 4 looked like it was fading away and winner of EL gets a Champions League spot. Now with Liverpool pissing all over themselves the top 4 is looking good again.

I never was overly thrilled liked the Pogba signining but it's Manchester United where money is no real object I guess.

I agree, for their ridiculous spending habits the standards they've achieved have still been sub-par (and the media spins on top of it). With their payroll Top 4 isn't even acceptable, you're supposed to be competing against Europe's best AND contending for domestic trophies.

I think Mou has done a great job though, I see United getting back near the top with him. Maybe not in Champions League, but I could see him winning the Premier League again.

 

That's exactly where they should be after spending 300m or whatever it was - they should be winning the league, they should be going far in CL.

 

I don't really like the summer names that I'm seeing them being attached to either. It's just kind of a random hodgepodge of talent. Your Spurs on the other hand have been constructed very well. They may not be the most talented team in the Prem, but they're bar none the most entertaining side in it. My Dad and I agreed on that during the FA Cup game this weekend.

 

We have always been pretty entertaining though maybe bar that short spell under AVB.

Do you go to United games? Follow away?

I was in London last September? And I went to Monaco CL at Wembley, Sunderland Home and up to Stoke away. The away day was a killer day out - clearly my highlight. I would love to be able to follow and travel to away games week in and out - I did see the fact that it would be an expensive excersize though.

 

I follow all of their games since about 2005. Went to Lincoln Financial Fields first ever event in Philly which was United vs I believe Arsenal. Have been to Old Trafford for a few games whenever I visit.
