You can be a dick back, but there's a level of professionalism people expect when you're the site owner. You have the right to ban whoever you please and be a dick back. However, this will, simply put, make you look like a dick as well. I like it when you punish people in creative ways such as changing their usernames, or just generally fucking around with them. You just have to understand that when you ban people, it creates a sense of insecurity. It's as if people contribute years of their life in a community they cannot live without, and you take that privilege away.
