On one hand, I respect you for making the move you did. Not many people would have done this in your place, I'm sure.

However, my stance on what I have written and think about you remain and overall, I still feel this is a good riddance.

 

I wasn't there for what went down in the past day, but you taking a step down was probably a swell choice at the moment.

I don't know what exactly went on, but each and every one of you involved should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'd just like to point out that Ryan is more of a benefit to this site than each and every one of you put together. The amount of work he puts in around here is overwhelming, and while I don't always agree with him, he does do a lot. Its about time you all fucking appreciate it.

You are on a power trip, and followed every step ryan did. You wont be far behind give it a few weeks...

 

Without normal members though, what good is a site full of moderators. I don't think a site can be very successful with the mentality that the average user is worthless.

EDIT - Nothing against you or n4n0. I've been here since n4n0 first became a moderator, did more than anyone else, admitted he scammed in the past and worked his way back up. No one in my eyes has done so much for the site in my time and it is apparent by his success here, I just don't like the way this whole situation has gone over. It's ended poorly for literally everyone.

 

I'm not sure why so many people go into a massive power trip some time after becoming yellow, but Corey; I couldn't disagree more.

How can you say Ryan is more valuable than all of us put together?

We are the ones who make up sythe.org. What would be valuable to you? A full of staff team, who doesn't even have job, because it has no members?

A single member on a forum will never have an overwhelming value opposed to the normal members.


As much as I agree with the fact that the recent actions of many people have gone way too far [ie the pictures], I have to be honest and say: I am also shocked to see this banning spree and I don't agree with it. Those members may be assholed, may be unmature, but hey: THEY are sythe.org - Not Ryan.

At the end of the day, we are on a RuneScape Black Market forum. We don't need these kind of things anyways.

My post was directly aimed at those involved, not at the users of the site in general.

 

And yet how dead is the forum now... You have to realize that if every single member was like you, Ryan or any other staff member for that fact there would be no Sythe.org. No one wants to be apart of a community that is so politically correct it stops being a place to enjoy.

I used to come here to escape from the real world. Why would I come here if its worse then the real world.

Politically correct isn't what were referring too. Treating each other as human beings is what's really the issue here. From what I'm getting from what I've heard some of the banned party did some terrible things that no human deserves.

Take Ryans dick out of your ass and come back when you have common sense. The shit that you probably don't know about if your "Perfect Little Admin" he has been banned for scamming, UNBANNED and made admin yet some one calls him butt hurt and they get perm ban...

He has abused his powers for way to long and as much as I hate finn he was a way better admin and community member then Ryan ever has been and ever will be.

 

Let me answer this for you [my personal opinion, from my perspective]:

Ryan lost all respect I ever had for him two weeks ago. The way he handled a situation truly reminded me of how Finn had treated similar situations in the past.

I simply went up to him with the question: 'Is it a bannable offence to buy a cracked League of Legends account, for personal use?'

He told me yes, which was all cool - I asked him why so, which led to a debate, where I claimed accepting stolen property is not immoral by all means. After a long debate, seeing he couldn't convince me, he first started writing in caps and started showing less respect to me in the conversation, then suddenly he lost it and said something in the lines of:

'I don't agree with your moral compass, therefore I'm giving a TwC on Sythe.org' - In the past, we actually planned on starting up something here on sythe, where he would've had to trust me, which he even did, but we couldn't go on with the project, due to a technical difficulty. [This relates to Finn's traits how? I was banned for ~ 17 months, after he changed another admin's decision, purely because I had an argument with him as well about something - I remained banned up until he was banned].

I tried to talk to him about this later [he said he had to go] and he would ignore me everafter - Not to mention the hipocrisy of a person talking about how a moral compass should look [I wasn't the one who scammed in the past].

The other thing; how he handles criticism, how he handles things in general is ridiculous, he gives the impression of considering himself superior.

Other than Matt's bans, this is the best riddance in some time, in my personal opinion.


I understand he contributed a lot to the site, was an asset; But the way he handled members and people in general [in my opinion] is outright ridiculous and a RuneScape Black Market and discussion forum doesn't need such people.

Take a look at Superman, take a look at Roary, Corey even. Dave... Do you see any drama caused / started by them? For instance, these aforementioned staff ALWAYS helped and always tried to be cooperative as much as possible on any inquiry I had. Ryan was stuck up, arrogant and tripping on his powers. The aforementioned ones are the people we need. Who can actually communicate and have leadership qualities.

 

Perfect little admin isn't how I'd describe him. I'm not trying hard for staff my opinion differs from yours so I'm riding dick? Nice logical fallacy. He may have scammed/done other things but does that warrant the treatment he was given yesterday? In my opinion it doesn't. You immediately jump to verbal attacks try using the brain you have to write your opinion in a manor that doesn't make you seem uneducated.

 

Nobody deserves the treatment he was given yesterday, that's not even the question here, in my opinion. I don't think there's anyone who says yesterday's actions didn't stretch far over the line.
