Hey guys. Not a lurker, just a bit embarrassed so I don't want to use my real account.
Is it normal to be almost 20 and to have never had a girlfriend? When I think reflect upon myself, I've got mostly good traits. I'm athletic, fit, I can talk to girls just fine, I'm not terrible looking and have close to/over 20 good friends.
I'm not too sure what my problem is. I have the courage to ask girls out since I've gone out with 3 (first two only on the first date, didn't really like em that much) then the third one I reeeeally liked a lot but got friendzoned after ~the 6th date. The problem there was that she wouldn't initiate jack shit and I was too nervous to try anything past holding hands. It was one-sided. Anyway still hung-up on her after a year but trying my best to get over her which is why I'd like to start asking more girls out.
A big problem I think I have is that I always think that girls don't like me, that I get friendzoned by each and every one I meet. Even if I think there's a slight chance they like me, I always seem to think that I'm not good enough, or that the same thing that happened with that third girl will happen again. I'm not experienced enough in the field of dating to try anything like kissing or whatever, cause I just don't know when to do it or when is the right time.
Sorry that that sort of turned into a rant...If anyone has some advice, criticism, or just reassuring words that'd be great, I don't feel so awesome right now.
