    Girl in class

So I'm in my first year at college and of course girls are a huge part, especially establishing relationships in the early stages. There's a girl in my math class who is beautiful... Usually the only time i HU with girls is when I go to parties. I have friends that are girls, but I have known them for 8+ years. This girl is different, she's the leader of the community service at the school, a sophomore, and a part of student government. I've never spoken to her and she is a sophomore. I have seen her at our soccer games and don't know if she actually knows who I am. Any help to approach her and ask her to hangout sometime is appreciated!

Just a simple pass by and saying hi, your a cutie should work. Try and make eye contact and look her up and down so she kinda gets the feeling that you think shes sexy. Or you can take the omg I have community service role on her and see if that gets you a talk..... but just approach her and say like do you know where this class is, from there let life take its course of boy meets girl. Let me know how it goes im quite interested in this story line.

Just play it cool, maybe try and ask about the community work she does and ask if there's any way you can help.. you could always get involved in it and you never know you might end up working more closely ;)

These guys dont really know what they're saying. Its not really that easy to have the balls and approach to a girl and be like "hey cutie" like one dude above said.

Well, I am in college too and to speak with girls you can start off with college-related stuff, like "Hey I couldnt listen the teacher, what did she say?" and simple things like that, then you can go from there.

Girls like confidence, classroom chit chat is a no-no if you ask me.. it's awkward and makes people cringe. Ask about her interests like the school community work or whatever, girls love it when you share the same interests or show interest in what they do. Trust me ;)

You're an athlete and especially at the collegiate level so that's a +1 in my books. You should start off by saying "Hey, I seen you at our games." From this point on introduce yourself, tell her you're a freshman, what you're aspiring to learn and then turn the tables on her and question her about her college experience so far. If you get the sense that she likes to talk to you from this point on, ask for her number. If not, I don't know what to tell you. I hope this helped. :)

Thanks for the advise! and yes the "athlete" title helps a lot haha, but im also worried about dating someone younger. Where i went to school it was looked down upon to really date younger people, hence older as well

Dating younger girls isn't really a problem I'd say. Just when you would say her age is like 16 years and 3 months or 16 and a half.. then it's a sign she is too young. But it depends on your age though, but when I have to add months to make the gap closer it's most likely a no go.

It really depends on the age difference, 20 and 23 isn't uncommon but 15 (girl) and 18 (boy) starts to be a bit odd. You shouldn't really focus on what others are saying/thinking though, if you think that it feels right then you can go for it.

    Confidence is the biggest key.
You can be talking about anything, like some of the things peole have already suggested, but if you do it with confidence and really show it, that's your ticket in.

Now it's not easy for some people, as they can be shy, and usually shyness and confidence aren't a good mix, but with practice anyone can do it.

I'd go with the "hey i've seen you at a few games" as someone already mentioned. If shes been to your games, there's a good chance she might know who you are. And if not, saying "I play (position)" and she might say "oh yeah I've seen you", usually, then go from there.
