Basically, I don't know what to do. Call it whatever you want, I'll make this short and sweet. I'm in love with my girlfriend, and I'm always a dick to her. She sends me all this shit and it's just touching really, I don't know what to do. I've never really had a feeling like this. I've been with her since November 2009, off and on.

here's an example of something she wrote like 5 minutes ago:

"Baby" (10:10:32 PM): I dont care about you being a dick , cause I know you love me . I know you feel the same exact way i do . Everything between us means more than anything to me , and im never gonna give it up for anything in this world . Id rather do this shit than not have you at all , I will always be their for you threw anything & you know that . I love you so much , and i dont know about you but doing this mad difficult but idc . I wanna do it , cause in the end all i want is you . You forever in my life , right their beside me .

Cut out being a dick to her?
If you have strong feelings for her act like it. Treat her with the utmost respect but don't change to drastically, she might get frightened and change her feelings towards you.

 

I know she doesn't say it now, but she is going to get sick of the "shit" you're giving her and want to move on. She'll feel she deserves to be treated better.

My suggestion is to stop being a dick to her if you want to keep her. If you can't be with her without acting like a dick, is the relationship really worth it in the long run?

Have you ever thought "what if...". Lately I've been thinking that, what if...I didn't meet her..what if I wasn't with her...what if man. That's the question I always wonder. Honestly, I've had the worse week because of this "what if..". Not to get off-topic too much, but my best-friend passed away and I've been thinking what if about him. Maybe everythings been coming too fast for me? I've had three deaths this year so far...she's the only thing I got left.

You can ask "what if" questions all day and wonder about how things could've been differently (I do this myself sometimes) but you have to realize that was your past and can't be changed. You are what you are now because of what happened in your past. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Keep the memories of your deceased friends with you but also learn from them.

Most people make the mistake of being what they think the girl wants.
This never works out in the long run, A girl likes you for what you are, if you are being what you aren't you'll run into a list of troubles.

The most common mistake is liking/disliking stuff that she likes/dislikes. Harmless at first...

If you love her, and she loves you. Do what you can to stay together.
Ask her what you're doing to be a dick, if you don't know already, and work hard to sort that out.
Things in life come easy if you don't rush them, focus on one thing at a time, and then you'll get more done then doing 10% of 10 jobs.

Yeah, I know my past can't be changed, and sometimes I'm SO happy that it can't be. Here's how I met her:
I went to this camp with my ex.
Started dating my ex for a few years.
Met this new girl (Katlyn)
Started talking with her once a week'ish.
Started talking to her everyday
Then finally asked her out.

I talk to one of her friends, and she thinks that's going to happen with her friend and I, I constantly tell her it won't. She just doesn't get it.

Ya. I guess at first I tried being someone else (who doesn't if you really like your partner) but now I guess I act like myself.

We had this long ass talk last night and she was telling me what I meant to her. I asked her why me, and said I'm the only person she needs, with her girls. She doesn't want any other boy and she promises that we can be together forever, etc. etc..

She also states that she doesn't mind me being a dick to her, as long as she has me. I keep telling her I will change, and I hope I can live up to that.

How am I a dick? Apparently 'cause "I'm always grumpy" her sister tells me (she's like 7 haha)

I'm trying to stay with her. I guess your right, I need to focus on one thing at a time. I'm trying to hard to sort this out.
