Whole of Staff Feedback

Not sure how you guys are gonna call for two admins when there is literally only three active staff members. Might as well just make the three of them admin and then recruit a whole new staff team.

 

What I do know is that ya'll better pay video the big bucks to return.

 

Honestly I only really got one feedback thingy here. I apologize if this ends up sounding more or less like a suggestion in a way instead of feedback but here we here. For the 4 of you folks on the Sythe admin team,

I'm not going to lie, I was genuinely shocked of learning of what happened to Gladiator today and I just wanted to make the suggestion that since you guys are down another admin in such a short time period, at least make @Yoshiki the replacement admin; I've seen him do nothing but super duper excellent work on the forums all around for years, this is also even going as far back as when he was an admin on Powerbot in the early 2010s. I mostly used Sythe or Powerbot to browse for accounts that I may take an interest in or for RSGP purchases so I wasn't really too active within the community. However, Yoshiki on the other hand, I've observed them being super active and he's actually been one of the staff members from Powerbot (well I suppose from Sythe as well now that Powerbot has been defunct for a few years) that I was actually able to rely on the most if I ever had any inquiries or questions; the guy was always informational and I've seen him have good judgement skills too.

Thanks again for all you do for Sythe and I hope you guys take this into consideration

Tbh @Yoshiki should have been the admin over Gladiator in the first place. This person put their time and soul into this site and I was super shocked/sadden they got overlooked for the promotion in the first place. Even from a lurker pov, you could see how much heart they have for Sythe

OT: New team with the new promotion/returning staff looks pretty solid. Hoping to see this stays pretty solid long term from everyone

 

Good job on handling/cleaning up the suggestion threads.

 

I'm confused, and nothing against Andy.. but other staff have lost their position for much less than past scams.

Scamming, regardless of when, means there is always a doubt if that user can be trusted and is doing other things that his "position" can hide or coverup.

How is this decision and result not biased? A user is caught ban evading from 10 years ago and has to pardon but because he's an admin its a slap on the wrist and no repercussions?

Not only that, but he clearly knew that he did this in the past and LIED about it on his application and to others which is a continued pattern of deceit.

Well if the scam was known by him and others, when he applied for staff he also lied to every current staff member that reviewed his application. Isn't that deceit as well? A pattern of deceit from an admin is a cause for concern

 

He scammed off-site, and faked vouches with himself. Not separate entities here.

 

I'd like to make the suggestion that Staff should have harsher punishments regarding the 'Do not post in RAS Threads unless you are the accuser, defendant that's tagged/mentioned or if the staff handling the specific report has tagged a outside of report individual for input.' rule. Been seeing way too many randoms trying to interfere in shit that don't concern them. Maybe make it from one infraction/warning to a actual 1 week ban each time they post when they aren't the accuser, the accused party or anyone that got tagged by the staff member handling the report for more information.

EDIT: You guys are really nailing the reports though so excellent job on those as I have definitely seen a few high-profile ones recently.

Hello All,

I think the forums needs a clear out when you guys get the chance, The Suggestion selection is a mess and got really old suggestions there, Approve or deny looks ugly.

I think you also need to sort out "Other game Markets" Final Fantasy XIV is very inactive, The fifa market and Valorant Market also suffer from the same fate.

I think with some new other game Markets, Sythe could get some new members as there are loads of other games out there what are much bigger, I know you have a place already like "Other games" But just seems like those games won't see the attention they may derseve and If for example your a gta 5 seller/Booster it doesn't look very attractive to become a seller on sythe, There's much easier Marketplaces/Websites what offer services for all sorts of games which does look attractive to go on sell on.

That's promoting the best selling accounts, It's very easy on the eye for buyers and great for sellers.
