[DENIED]Have a notifcation if someone has read your mail

I don't like being ghosted.
it's nice to know if someone has read your mail or not.

 

I think that this used to be something you could do, but I'm not sure if it still is. Either way I think that this is a personal issue rather than a site one. I don't see the need for this to be added.

 

Being ghosted is your problem. Tbh, you're being ignored politely I'd say. This is what being ghosted means.

Ignoring someone politely is not a thing on sythe anymore, you have to respond before bumping a thread otherwise your thread will be locked depending on the PM in question.[if its to do with your thread]

 

It would be nice to know if you’re being ignored. Especially if you’re waiting on an answer from someone who for whatever reason refuses to give you one.

 

It'd be nice to have but I mean what can you say, it's only qol. As far as dispute sake goes, for example someone is ignoring PMs to repay, etc. I'm sure staff have the capability of checking that.

 

I feel as if it would be abused.

“I saw you read my PM’s”

It’d be like having an annoying ex.

 

I support this, as it's super annoying not knowing whether someone has ignored you or if they've simply not opened your message. You can generally get a good idea based on looking at their recent activity time on their profile, however...

 

Sure I don’t mind. Could help in some cases.

 

Unfortunately we can't do this with our current system. If someone chooses to ghost you, they'll ghost you whether you know they've read the message or not anyway.
