Not really, will just give people more reasons to bitch at mods.

And me personally I wouldn't want people to see when I read their message. I don't like iMessage for this reason.

Support from me as well - many websites use this feature (Facebook as an example), there's really no downside to it. Perhaps make it an option to turn it on/off in the user settings?

Ah, never mind. That was with vBulletin you were able to do that. But yeah, I support and you could always have it optional like it was before.

I'm not sure if this feature is available for XenForo, but I'm not opposed to having it implemented if possible.

Someone would need to scour through the Add-on Releases currently available (and possibly look through / create a request) to see if this can be added.

I don't foresee much push-back in having it approved if available.
