[DENIED]Bumping

I think 8 hour bumping period is too long.
I suggest to make it every 5 hours for $300+ donors

 

I support, because If you think about all the favourite traders getting several bumps from their customers per day. Now for a new or upcoming trader, they're limited to their 8-hour bumps and possibly a few vouches only vs many more for the established and favourite sellers.

We try and make sure donor perks are not market advantages (at least to an extent), this would be a market advantage. I'd be supportive of lowering the time between bumps from 8 hours -> 6 hours for all users.

I support this, but I think it should be for a higher donation tag than 300. I'm at 300 because it has the most perks. The only other donation perk above this is a 3rd username image at $500, which just isn't worth it IMO. If we make this perk exclusive to $500 or $1000 donors, it will encourage more donations, which in turn is better for the website.

If I wanted early bumps I could easily pay $500+ for Sythe gold and get early bumps with no issues whatsoever - @Pegasus offered me about 50k Sythe gold for $400

Sure early bumping would be useful for donors but I'd say put the requirement down to $200 donators. The reason for this is because $200+ donors already get access to opt in for banner bidding so surely putting the requirement down a bit won't be too much of a problem.

 

I think we should be allowed 4 bumps every 24 hours (every 6 hours) due to how much busier a lot of the market sections are (so many new gold sellers etc). Threads get moved too far down because of it.

Although I don't believe it should be a donor perk, just a perk for everyone.

 

I would support making the bump timer from 8 hours -> 5 hours (for only certain sections of the website- not the entire forum).

8 hours is simply too long in some areas.

Also, the "early" bump via Sythe Gold is entirely way too expensive @ ~400 per early bump. Might seem like a little but that pales in comparison to how hard it is to actually earn SG. Might want to rework the early bump mechanic or remove it as a whole if it is changed from 8 hours to lesser.

 

I support lowering but 6hours sounds better and this should be for all sythe users, not as a donation perk

 

Support. 3 bumps per day at a max isn't enough to compete with traders who get their threads constantly bumped with vouches.

Side note: has anyone suggested that users shouldn't be allowed to get vouches on non-vouch threads? I feel its kinda unfair.

 

No support, as it is there are already people who take advantage of people writing on their threads and responding hours later as a "free" bump, if you lower the number even more you just get a lot more free bumps if your customers post on your threads.

 

I'd like to see it moved down to 6 hours whether a perk for donors or a perk for everyone.
During prime times where everyone is dumping/selling gold if you're one of the first to bump your thread is going to get knocked down and maybe even pushed to the second page for over 3-4 hours even while you're still actively selling.

I think for people who actively trade in Runescape gold, this is a great addition. I can't speak on behalf of other games.

 

Zero support. As @Pendulum already mentioned, the whole principle that Sythe is based fundamentally on is a fair level playing field for everyone who trades. Turn it into a pay-to-win trading space and still call it 'free' trade? How is it a FREE trade site if people can pay to succeed? How fucking ironic. So now newcomers with little rep gotta insta-donate 500$ to get even a little start in gold trading or see zero progress at all since they get drowned out in bumps by max donors?

Either cut down bumping time for everyone or none at all. There's a good reason Sythe himself never included any actual tangible benefits in donor ranks that give donors a direct competitive edge over others.

 

No support, it's fine as it is. The big goldsellers already have the advantage of getting their threads bumped by customers. Reducing bump timer behind donor rank would be unfair for new gold sellers.

This is actually ridiculously unfair and should be removed asap.
