Help us simplify the Sythe Rules

Bump this all you want but is anything actually going to happen with this? I think if @Sythe wants to redo the rules to simplify them, then he should hand pick (or with staff team's help) a group of ~5 normal members + staff people to collaborate on a re-created rules list, instead of just meaninglessly bumping a 15 month old thread.

 

Flaming, Harassment, Trolling:

• Using excessive profanity, insults, or derogatory comments towards another user.
• Partaking in behaviour intended to disturb or upset another user, creating bounty threads on another user.
• Deceiving members or staff for fun, humor, or to cause drama.
• Posting purposely to anger or to elicit a negative response from others for fun, humor, or to cause drama

This should be Removed as mods don't do anything about it anyway.

Also the *Home ip* Rules should be removed also, It is stated *A wireless connection* does not count as a Home Ip, We are in 2018 and 90% of users use *Wifi*

But terms of modernizing the rules, I don't think that is needed as the rules cover everything. If people can't spend 20 mins reading the rules before creating a service then it's there fault if they break the rules.

 

Mods to take care of situations like these; unless in spam forums.

You obviously don't understand why the *Home IP* rules are in place; and I can see why you wish they'd change the rules.. hah..

The Home IP rules are necessary to help stop potential vaders from completing trades on this website. Obviously it can be annoying if a TWC was placed onto someone who isin't a vader, but it helps keep the community safe. I obviously joke about your situation quite a bit, and if you're not a vader, it's unfortunate for you. Although I'd have to agree with my gut feeling.

Don't expect any of these rules to change.

 

Wait so you are saying, A ban evader won't be Found out if he posted from a wireless connection? Surely wireless and wired are the same as u r still posting from a Home Ip? Yes I agree they are necessary as it's proteching the sythe community, But it's 2018 and everyone uses wireless. People on Discord have shown me there Home Ips and they are wireless. But nothing happended to them It's either the system is fucked or it's the Mods who pick who they want to Twc. My case was because i had a vpn linked to that donald guy i got mistreaded and harassed by everyone (Not in the spam fourm) I reported each Post And All the Mods said was *Ignore them* If that is stopping people from being harassed/Flamed/Trolled then what is the point in those rules?

 

You also had a high post count and donated $50 the first few days you were here. You were spamming multiple threads. - It looks fishy and that is why multiple people have called you out for being a vader. & the VPN in another reason; why would you need to use a VPN?

& I'm not sure if you've realized or not, but a lot of Ban Vader posts get denied because of Wireless and or VPN matches. I'm not a mod, so I cannot see what they can see regarding your wifi situation, but there must be something suspicious going on w/ it since you've been TWC'd for a few weeks.

 

I'm Not on just about me, Also alot of people donated for the first few days of being Here (Spent a fuck load of time Reading and searching people), This is a suggestion Thread, This is not a dispute Thread, I am not bringing these matters up just for me there are other people, I use a vpn for alot of different reasons And a *Vpn* Match means Nothing, Just the same Vpn the one i use is very popular, Most sythe users use a Vpn that is not a problem, And you are missing the point. Regardless if i look *fishy* i was still harassed/Abused/Trolled And it never took place in the *Spam fourm* If all the mods are going to say is ignore them then those rules should be taken out of service, Also you have not made a valid point about why it's different to post from a wired or wireless connection, Anyway let's stop this because Like i said this is a suggestion Thread where me and u have just spammed up (Our bad).

P.S I have got the Twc still because i have not re-disputed it as i have a no intentions of trading on sythe. I will just use services on sythe for my own personal Needs.

 

Thread Hijacking: Offering your services/sales on someone else's services or sales thread.
Can be removed as people should know to report the post anyway.

Offsite vouches are not honored or allowed on Sythe.

This needs clearing up as I have seen people using Offsite Vouches on there thread, Also why can't people use offsite Vouches? If they have done a legitmate service elsewhere and then decide to come to Sythe it could help them get started?.

• Interacting on Two or More Accounts/Sharing Accounts: You are strongly advised not to create more than one account at Sythe.org. If you do, ensure that the accounts do not interact with each other. Using a secondary account that is used SOLELY to bump threads while complying with the 8 hour bump rule (see above) is allowed. Sharing accounts is not allowed, however a valid legal entity (i.e. company) may have its own Sythe account, distinct from its members/shareholders, provided it complies with the other rule.

This Also could be re-worded, *You are strongly advisted not to create more then one account, If you do ensure that the account do not interact with each other* Disagree with that, You should only be allowed one account per person, Then his secondary account should be banned As their is no need for a seconondary account, Regardless if it's to bump him own thread where there is a *Bump* thread button.

Anyone found cheating in/manipulating competitions or other such events will be punished:

• 1st Offense - One month competition ban
• 2nd Offense - Two month competition ban
• 3rd Offense - Perm Ban from competitions

All of these will include an automatic disqualification from the competition and the user will be given the "BANNED FROM COMPETITIONS" user title.

Also cheating is showing the same intent of scamming, User should be Faced with stricted rules. It is showing all the wrong messages out, Cheating is not acceptable and the competitions is for fun and for the sythe community if you feel like you need to cheat to win then you should have no place within the community.

No it should be mandatory to show these things, If you got any problems and suspect it is of google, Then ask for the rsn.

 

I would not "bump" it, if it was not necessary. We are taking the communities suggestions / thoughts and collaborating them to not only update rules, but to implement new things into Sythe. We will be releasing an announcement thread on the things that we update.

Pls add this, because it highly correlates with value/safety of the accounts, and the buyers awareness of the risks when buying it from a certain seller

*Account seller must state if he is original owner of the account
*Account seller must state if the account was ever sold to anyone else before(and how many times it was)

My personal opinion would be to block reseller account sales completely to solve this issue as they conclude majority of account scams. and it is a huge grey area when it comes to refunds but knowing it's a "free-market" i don't really see that happening

 

IMO reselling accounts should be prohibited completely, it's definition of risky purchase, you're buying account from pretty much unknown source, seller is responsible only for account itself, but seller is not responsible for that what happens after (eg. buying gold on account, training it's skills, pretty much other financial loses not releated to just purchasing account) + these cases are usually inpossible to prove so sellers always get away with it.

 

Bump. Always looking for suggestions on rule changes & hearing the communities opinion.

 

Take away the ability to do private reports and not give special treatment to them.

Allow a user to defend himself, and view evidence used against him.

If you have done something to somebody, or them to you, and you/they forgive you, whatever happened should not be allowed to be used against you in the future. People make mistakes and I believe it is highly unethical to bring up the past when already forgiven and moved on from.

I was "banned" and then DNT'd as a result of something I cannot see, or defend myself against. Something that happened a year ago now, I have no way to see if any Evidence was altered, exaggerated, edited in any way.

A fair trial between 2 people who have a problem, should be resolved fairly, not a 1 sided trial with no consideration of ethics or evidence from the defendant.

I gave my all to this site, my time, my efforts, my tears, my donations, my honest service, and in the end I was banned as a result of something which occurred a year ago, something that was brought up and used against me after already being forgiven, Something that happened on a 3rd party site before I even had a Sythe account.

It needs to change @Sythe @Gen @video

 

I'd like to say, what I suggested was basically 'simplifying the rules' in a way.

In the end I see this forum as not needing any form of moderation or staffing present in regards to punishments. How free and beautiful that would be. I'll read over the rules and suggest exactly which should be removed or revised!!
