[DENIED] Reducing number of pinned msgs

can staff go over these pinned msgs and combine some of them?

I know its purely aesthetics, but theres 8 pinned messages in RAS section that can easily be combined into 1 or two.



possible reduce this to:
1. How to report
2. Scammed and want to be paid back?
3. Do Not Post unless...



Other examples of pinned msgs that can be combined:



can be combined into:
1. Gold Exchange rules and basic practices.
2. Beware of Imposters
3. Sythe banner (? perhaps moved elsewhere, like community/donor lounge)
Also the "temporary moderated status" isnt really 'temporary' when its been like that for 18 months already.

 

Much agree, would like to see the whole site change its look / accessibility as it’s pretty intimidating to browse

 

As you said before, it's purely cosmetic.

But combining 2-5 different topics in 1 thread can be overwhelming.

 

That, or combine them into a warning like i suggested below

Have a warning for impostors before viewing market threads

Would help reduce the number of newcomers scammed

 

I believe a couple of the pins like the “imgur” or “attention” could be merged into “how to report a scammer”. the others I think are fine where they are. Its important to have everything viewable right away for newcomers looking to make a report. Some of these pins are there so mods dont spend extra time having to wait on the OP to follow a certain guideline. Of course it doesnt always work but it helps the mods and the OP


I do support this idea for the rest of the forums though. A lot of sections could use some merged pins, excluding ras.

 

i think it's better to have more for more detailed topics

 

yea but having one for discord, one for skype, one for livechat even... is a bit excessive.

I'm going to make some mock ups in the PR forum and bring it to the staff team. This would be admin territory to approve however.
