So far @Jason is doing a phenomenal job at his new assigned position. I really enjoy watching him hard at work on the vader threads, and on the forum in general. He's helped me in the past, and he's continuing to help me get rid of these vaders. I look forward to the future with you on the staff team! :^)

Request of different staff member to view my report against accountwarehouse.com

In regards to your post closing that thread

Do we not have the option to request a different staff member take a look at a thread, if we believe for whatever reason that the staff member is biased or a wrong descision is made, im sure ive seen multiple threads where people have asked for certain staff members to abstain from posting on a report.


Just wondering, no hassle intended.

This case is a bit different because we are not actually ruling on what the user is posting, rather we are telling him that we will not handle the case based on a few circumstances outlined in the posts Pendulum made. This is hardly subject to possible bias, so the user has a tough time claiming that. Even so, multiple staff members were involved in the decision to not handle the case and Pendulum even outlined that in his post, the user who is making the report is just understandably upset and kept making threads regardless of what we have posted.

In regards to other cases, users may ask for another staff member to look at their thread, but as staff we are in no way obligated to have multiple staff members look over the same case just because a user disagrees with our ruling. There are plenty of cases where staff does have a different moderator look at cases on request but that is a case by case basis and is completely up to staff. If you believe that a staff member may be exhibiting bias or have a conflict of interest, I would bring it up to a moderator that is of a higher rank with proof of it. If bias is found, the higher ranking staff member will reevaluate the case and either affirm or overrule the ruling.
