Again read the whole conversation; He entrapped me idiot. This forum is bullshit, you're all idiots, I've been a member for like four years (this is my fourth account.)
And I am done- Peace.
Although you said you're done, I'm going to use this situation and show how it is a perfect example. And before I write this, I want you to know it wasn't right of your boyfriend to slap you back. (Although we aren't getting the full story I will trust what you said.)
You claimed that your boyfriend was blocking the door to the bathroom which made you feel threatened, I'm assuming, otherwise you would not have hit him. I am assuming the argument started in the bathroom, otherwise, how he got you in there is beyond me. But couldn't it of been just because he wanted to finish the conversation without you walking out? I've been in numerous situations where if a girl gets flustered in an argument, they hang up the phone or walk out of the room mid-sentence.
You claim it wasn't right for you to hit him which is understandable because that is your stance on domestic violence. But I'm assuming you felt like you did not have a choice, so you did what you thought was necessary.
Let me turn the tables now. I myself have been in situations where a girl has been screaming at me for something that I did that "she did not like", forces me into a corner (literally and theoretically), and does not let me have a chance to speak on behalf of myself. I don't feel threatened, but violated. I have no chance to speak, and no way out. So, I do what I think is necessary for the situation and try to calm her down by putting my arms around her, talking calmly, or trying to explain my side. But no, she yells louder, shoves my arms down, doesn't give me a chance to speak, and slaps me across the face, hard, very hard (at this point I haven't said a word in this argument). In the situation presented above, I told her to "shut the fuck up," and I walked away.
Next day, while she was intoxicated, she came in my room and drew all over my desk in highlighter writing crude statements, then proceeds to break them. Not a huge deal, but a enormous pain in the ass. Here, I should have slapped the shit out of her face, but I didn't because it is "
dis respectable" to hit a lady.
Once women get emotional, they are on a power trip and feel invincible until proven otherwise. She definitely deserved a slap, as do guys from now and then. So is it right sometimes? Yes, definitely.
