YOUR opinion - Sythe redesign concept

Above you see a design I created with Sythe's guidance that can possibly be Sythe.org's new look!

The widths of the center are not finalised, the alignments of objects are not perfect either it is simply for a visual guide as to what it could look like.

Post your thoughts/opinions/etc. about this design, would you like this to be the new sythe? Would you prefer the current design?

I really like it! I would just like the blue where the forum names are a bit darker.

 

I like it aswell, i never really liked this theme. :S

 

TDD, that's a really nice skin.

This design is amazing. I would love to see it.

 

I want the current sythe design to always stay. Only because its sythe, it wouldnt seem like sythe if it was different. Other forums like fagex change their design all the time etc. we dont. I dunno it would seem weird having a different design.

I voted Keep current. Good work on the design though.

 

Believe it or not, Sythe WAS different. The design changed in late 2005/early 2006 to this one. It used to be a red and gray skin.

I was working with Sythe to make this design, so I doubt he doesn't want it ;p

Considering this skin has been here since something like late 2005 (I quite liked the old orange gray scheme) don't you think it's time for change? I tried to keep a lot of elements from the current design and incorporated them into the new one as to keep a sythe feel whilst bringing a new look.

Well, how would you like to see it changed?

 

I still actually like the old 05 theme better

You know me Mat, I love revisions. All I can see changed on the theme though, is the forum bars, and colors / gradient on them. The border / background / navigation looks great though.

I think its an awesome design and skin...nice work

 

I love the new design. The blue button tabs could use a little transparency redoing, but it's solid. Also, an option to switch between the two would be nice.

I think it's a little bit to.. Wow. Calm it down a little. If you can expand/collapse the forums without reloading the page.. That's amazing.
