Old School is only fun to some extent, ancient games get boring pretty quick

Prince of Persia & Prince of Persia: The shadow and the flame
I grew up with PoP and other Amiga games, I still play Apogee games too.

Anyone who says 'ancient games get boring pretty quick' is spoilt with todays technology.

Atari games are not ancient.
They came out only a few decades ago.

I'm talking about games like pong and asteroids.
Sure, you can hit that ball back and fourth for a few minutes, but does it really occupy you for long?

It surely occupies me for a few hours if you play with a friend. If you play against the computer, yeah it does get boring.

But Asteroids never get boring!

Edit: What you said is like saying that killing zombies cannot occupy you for long also.

Pretty much every N64 game.
Mostly Zelda and Banjo Kazooie

I was never too good at Zelda, but I did like it. Banjo Kazooie was an awesome game, good call. My other two favorites have to be 007 Golden Eye and Mario Kart, but those are classics. N64 was a great system, the best of it's time.
