idk there's a lot you could write about Runescape on an economics paper. Sythe is just full of dumbasses.

 

This is true. There's consumables, raw materials, finished products, environmental and 'technological' factors.

Runescape put me through three years of college, I know people flipping burgers who would kill to be able to do that.

 

It makes for a decent analysis of hyperinflation in a universe with no permanent scarcity. Partyhats and rares serve as a measure of absolute value

 

A funny story; RuneScape has not only taught me a lot about economics, but I remember specifically in 6th grade, my teacher asked us if we knew anything about cowhides/armour.

Fyi, this was my history class. I was going to raise my hand, but then I gave it a second thought and thought to myself, 'Ah, that's probably just a game and not how they really make armour.'

Long story short, I missed my chance in 6th grade to sound like a genius.

Nah, I'm just kidding. But seriously, RuneScape has taught me a lot throughout the years. Best part of it all were the typing skills I picked up from the time I was 9/10 years old and the countless hours I've spent playing some stupid game that my parents despised of as they thought I was wasting my life.
