    WoW or RS?

must admit WoW only because of the different race's/classes and the storyline and such is fun although rs is like the inspiration between so many rpg's

    WoW or RS?

    RS because:
    -Cheaper
-Simpler, but in a nice way
    -Botting is much easier
-Its unrealistic, but thats part of the fun
-I've been playing it since I was 14.

    WoW or RS?

Runescape, WoW's graphics are too cartoonish for my taste, they just seem out of place to me, and I don't really enjoy the quests, or really anything else in the game for that matter. The characters look cool, have some cool spells and classes but other than that, no.

    WoW or RS?

This should be stickied, and i personally like both, i suck at WoW and im decent in rs, in rs 136 cmb in wow 24 lol, but it takes like 1-2 months to max out in wow, but in wow the game starts at lvl 80, rs requires years to max out, i've been playin rs for about 4 years and im only lvl 136, anyway, WoW gets my vote.

    WoW or RS?

I go through phases of both games.
I like RS better because it doesn't require as much attention

    WoW or RS?

Have you ever looked at the game your playing or do you just make it up as you go along?

If WoW graphics are cartoonish runescapes graphics are by far worst. Ive played runescape for 4 years and when they changed he graphics it simply looks like their trying to hard. That game is a pure grind fest even if you do quest also the quests are very long for no reason what so ever and the updates are for little kids.

The wow quests are short some are long but you don't have to grind for levels it does get quite annoying trying to get gear. Runescape is a luck based game to the max at least in WoW you have a loot table and a drop %. The only thing i dislike is how the raid locks work. Also They use the same models for bosses/npcs.

    WoW or RS?

I hate runescape personally. Quit a while ago because it became so boring. The game requires 0 skill 100% luck. Or just sitting there for months to get 99's in certain skills. Even pvp isnt fun, again just luck and thats it. Any 5 year old kid can be good at runescape which I dont like.

Then again....I really dont like WoW either lol. Guild wars was my game for a while and when guild wars 2 comes out that will just destroy all other games.

    WoW or RS?

The reception towards this question will obviously be biased on a runescape cheating forum.

I prefer Runescape because it offers the social aspect i look for most in rpgs. WOW is more of an adventure game played amongst other people.

    WoW or RS?

It's clear why your brain is use to everything being done for you. Thats exactly what runescape does all and you do is click and it will be done. You spam the same action or grind a skill.

When you start WoW you will be confused since it's so much that can be done but at the same time nothing can really be done. I still like runescape but it's the fact it requires no skill at all for pvp or pve just learn a encounter and press buttons. actually you can auto attack and use a special and eat when your hp is low.

    WoW or RS?

-It's only cheaper if you have less then 3 account members.
-How is it simpler? did you ever try WoW at all?
-Botting in not easier....WoW is probably way easyer because you don;t have to worry about randoms.
    -Because WoW is realistic right?
    -ROFL

The social aspect of WoW is way better. You have a friends list, you can share quest and do them together, you have a guild, you can do instances with 5 friends, 10 friend and even 25 friend, do PVP with friends.
Name one thing you can't do in WoW that you can in RS....and what makes RS a better social game?

And WoW a Adventure game? LOL

    WoW or RS?

Okay, so I've been playing Runescape since 2001, at the end of it's first year of operation. It wasn't until May of 2010 that I started playing World of Warcraft, and I have to say that the games are heavily incomparable.

Runescape is a game that heavily focuses story-driven quests, co-operative activities, and level-based character advancement. PVP is an aspect of Runescape, but it's definitely not a core aspect. The skills are diverse and all have very unique mechanics that set them apart from the other skills.

Now World of Warcraft focuses on smaller quests. There may be stories within the quests, but most of them are very simple and lack any of the depth that Runescape quests have. The co-operative activities are pretty much limited to Dungeons, Raiding, and team PVP which, while they're all great fun, lack the diversity that the various Runescape activities have. The controls of WoW are customizable, manageable, and intuitive, but they're not at all original to WoW. These sorts of controls have been prevalent since the early days of EverQuest. That said, level advancement in WoW is only the simplest part of gameplay, and for most players the game doesn't even really start until you hit the max level. For that purpose, character advancement is much heavily focused on gear-advancement, rather than levels. PVP is an immense part of WoW's gameplay, and makes up for much of the end-game content.

So which game is better? That's really up to the player. Some people suggest that Runescape's lack of limiting people based on a class make it better, but anyone who's played through WoW knows that the reason classes exist is because each individual class is so comprehensive and unique that if the game were completely open-ended, the complexity would be impossible to digest. Similarly, people criticize Runescape's inferior graphics but when viewed in perspective (considering that Runescape runs entirely in the browser on a Java engine, rather than Blizzard's standalone platform) the graphics are probably comparable to one another, as WoW's graphics, while being more visually pleasing that Runescape's, aren't necessarily that amazing by modern gaming standards.

My vote personally goes to WoW, but that's just because I enjoy it more and it caters more to my style of gaming. The butting of heads in this thread just proves that the games are on par with one another, and people just prefer one over the other because the games really call for a much more diverse still of gaming than the other.

    WoW or RS?

Never played wow ... i fine the content on RS pretty addicting ... the weekly updates are just nice imo and i have been with RS for 9 years now lol ... people might complain about shit graphics or whatever, but they are getting better and will eventually catch up to WOW and still cost a shitload less per month.

    WoW or RS?

It Will never catch up to wow for the simple fact that jagex cares for stuff that isn't even important. They removed good aspects of the game for what reason real world trading? Every MMO has that and they are doing fine actually I don't care for graphics to much but they tweak stuff that isn't broken and when it gets broken they take ages to fix.

Ive played RS for 4 years and after the 3rd year it pretty much sucked because they went on an all out war on real world trading and forgot about the fu aspect of the game making it all childish and colorful.
