WoW or RS?

I love RS. I've played WoW, but I don't fully understand the concept of the game, honestly never really took the time. I would like to start playing WoW again, though.

Vote for Rs2.

 

To all of the people saying they don't enjoy WoW, you can't judge World of Warcraft until you have hit level 80, the game starts then.

 

The same argument goes for RS, hit mid 120's, start soloing difficult content and start enjoying the game.

Wow has no decent solo content, RS wins at that atleast.

 

Wow is meant for raiding, so yeah it doesn't have much solo content.

Taking the time to hit min 120's in runescape takes way too long.

 

The thing about WoW is that they have things like the Dungeon Finder, so while the high level content isn't made to be done solo, you can still do things like Heroic dungeons without the effort of actively seeking out a group.

In other words, having people to play with isn't essential, because the game does the work for you in that regard.

Also, for people who are fans of solo play, there's 1 V 1 modes in arena battles.

 

I have been playing RS ever since release and I have played WoW long enough(ICC 10/25 cleared - Arena master, etc) and I got bored of WoW.

Honestly..
People say "But WoW is so much more fun. PvP is better and PvE is awesome!"

Think about it..
It's just the flash graphics and more buttons to spam.

I think RS is the winner. However, that's just my opinion.

 

But is it? Wow is starting to cater more and more towards the casual player whereas RS has long been releasing more high level content.

 

No there is no such thing as a 1v1 arena mode buddy, and 5 player dungeons are not solo play.

 

I'm sorry.. I must be blind.
But, I NEVER saw a 1v1 arena option :/

In Runescapes defense.. You picked one of the worst screenshots and you removed the UI in the WoW one.

Thats really biased xD

 

I don't play either any more but if I had to pick, then Runescape. I tried playing Wow but I really didn't like it, to much running and there weren't enough things to do.

 

You can solo all vanilla and Bc instances even Bc heroics if your good. RS takes to long to hit 120 countless hours of grinding.

I guess you rather play ping pong or paper mario since it's less flashy graphics and less buttons to spam.

WoW caters to casuals like any other MMORPG.
RS just started releasing high end content even then as i said before is countless farming/grinding

To see the beauty of WoW you need max settings and remove the UI to make it slick and clean. The graphics for RS were never good i actually prefer the old graphics and animations it looks they are trying way to hard now.

You basically gave up on a game for being what it states it is MMORPG MASSIVELY Multi-player online role playing game. You prob rolled a toon leveled to 9 and said it was boring. But running around poking something and waiting for them to hit you back is WAY more fun.

 

Hehe verts messed up....What do you do in wow....CLICK FOOOD AND ARMOR.....its ok verts....Anyways runescape is crap and wow is too much to spend on a game...seriously...15$ to even play...go look at last chaos graphics..its free too...

 

Lol, when playing runescape you literally just click a tree, click a rock and your guy does the action and that's all it involves.

In warcraft you have an array of spells an abilities, and you maneuver your character while using spells and abilities. Fights also involve you to use strategies and co-ordinate with other people.

 

In wow you don't stand toe to toe and let your opponent hit you. Back when i use to play rs while edge pking you couldn't kite cause someone would pj you/saying you have ''NH'' or simply run if you didn't take a beating.

WoW requires more then luck and money to win.

 

You can't eat while in combaat, you get healed by a spell or heal your self, so you're wrong.
And good players do not click any useful spells as keybinds are much quicker and you can customize them anyway you prefer.

 

Did i mention i have have infact played wow before?

I mean...wow is clicking too....Like your spells...constantly clicking.

 

I prefer runescape, I played WoW with a friend for 2 weeks and didn't feel any sense of accomplishment. There was too little to do for me and the quests and dungeons are both monotonous as hell.

 

Oh it's because you didn't get sparkles around your head for everything you did?
In 2 weeks when i first went to WoW i got to level 13 or so i thought i was tough shit. Little to no quests because there are many areas you can quest in. Dungeons suck at lowers levels because people have no clue on what they are doing.

You people are proving RS is a easy game and you rather not stress your brain on a more complicated game.
