WoW or RS?

I have to say Runescape. WoW is essentially bigger, but Runescape can be played multiple times, making new accounts, working on different stats each character, the possibilities are endless. Not to mention 1/10 of the game is free, compared to none of the game being free for WoW.

 

Yeah mate there's a reason why none of the game being free for WoW, because the content is just so much more better. Possibilities with races, factions and classes are also different with many combinations. Rs has a free to play area which is limited and for people that either can't afford to buy membership or don't want to.

WoW > Rs.

 

Runescape.

Graphics don't make a game. It's all about the gameplay. Runescape has a way more unique play environment where-as World of Warcraft is just like every other MMO that is out.

 

I think you are missing the point that wow is not like every other mmo... every other mmo is like wow.

 

I have played both and prefer runescape but that might just be because im used to playing runescape more than wow

 

Well..If you haven't noticed there is a VAST amount of MMOs now trying so hard to copy WoW.

wow is to fun and addicting its also more nerdy so i play runescape so i can barley have a life instead of wow and no life

Also could you explain why a multi-award winning, multinational, market leading giant is nerdier than a browser mmo that was designed by a nerd in his free time?

 

Developers don't make the game nerdy ; the game itself does.

 

No , its the public perception that makes it "nerdy".

Just take a look at CoD. Before it came out i got some pretty harsh comments thrown at me just because i played computer games but since CoD came out, every single on of those people now have a 360 and a stack of games..

Why? Because some cool people played it and made it look cool.
Ive even saw runescape be the "cool" thing for a short period of time.

 

Both games are shit compared to other games on the market.

 

How so?

Runescape dominates the free browser market and quite rightly so.

Many other mmo's have better graphics and community than WoW but non come anywhere neer it on storyline, game depth and just downright awesomeness. Also most other mmo's are carbon copy's of wow.

WoW costs too much imo. Basically the only reason I play RS.
