WoW or RS?

You fail because there is no GOOD pics of runescape and you must be poor to think £9 a month is a lot(that's what i pay).

 

i think the thing rs has going for it is that its cheap. and can be played online. don't have to download. that said wow has better graphics and i think is more indepth. allthough i havnt played wow much rs seems to be growing in imiture rude little kids. and jagex is constantly raping the game and is loosing what was once great about it. i played runescape for a while and only tred the trial of wow but if i had the money i would go with wow. better gameplay i would imagine

This thread is hilarious the arguments wow players have is stupid.

you crtizize us for not playing wow but clearly you havent played rs. Have you been pvping in rs before? It is epic anything can happen your constantly switching weapons and strategies most high levels are hybrids and the hits are more randomised and a fast reaction time is needed. Wow pvp requires no skill to be good I can button mash and still beat great players -.-
Not so in Rs you will be owned and fast so many specials and spells that can get you k0ed you have to think and think fast to survive and to win.

Of course they do it has to be downloaded along with other things needed but the graphics are barely better.
rsgraphics in high detail and full screen with all setting toggled on is AMAZING AND RIDICULOUS because it is played in a browser. You can play rs on ANY COMPUTER ANYWHERE and the graphics are constantly getting better. Imagine wow in java it would be HORRIBLE imagine a downloaded wow like rs the graphics would only get BETTER.

stfu lol have you heard of pures? Their are so many different kinds of pures with different abilities and unlike you wow nerds tried to argue pures can defeat high level accounts and it takes skill.

Once again training isnt boring as their are several minigames such as soulwars and pestcontrol where you can receive some of the best xp while having fun/ pvping with minigame strategies. OR you can make a pure witch usually only has combat skills and is specialized you dont need 99 to make it work.

Have you actually done these quests? some of the main rs quests storylines are EPIC and yes they involve movie scenes as well.

SKILLING IS OPTIONAL and no you dont need 99 in everything or have to be level 138 to enjoy yourself. IN RS ANY LEVEL PLAYER CAN HAVE FUN IN WOW YOU HAVE TO BE MAXED LEVEL TO DO ANYTHING FUN.

WOW RUINS YOUR LIFE LOL so many people get addicted to it because the nature of the game requires you to be playing at all times in order to get ahead you cant event make good money without certain hours of play every week rs can be started and stopped at any time and you dont need to be a slave to it.

There is no question in he fact that some wow classes ( such as paladins) are just face-roll characters but this is a minority... if you tried to face-roll me i bet i would win 100% of the time.. but in rs you say you need more skill?
ok you might need to switch on 1-3 prayers... but oh wait they have a button for that now! "but what about switching weapons" that's like 1 click at most.. If you tried to click in pvp for wow you would die withing 3 seconds as your reaction time would be so slow , that is why you NEED to know all your keybinds to be pro.



I personally don't like the graphics argument. Cant exactly compare the two game since there art style/perspective is totally different. Rs does actually have amazing graphics.... for a browser game, this is where the RS fanboy's let the home team down. They seem to think the graphics are amazing.. which they are not but respectively yes they are. You are right about the download part but its a small amount of time (literally) for such a great game.


The pure argument means nothing mainly because most pure's are exactly the same , but with different names.. say you have a 1 def pure but you accidentally lvl def so you decide to get def to 40 for a rune pure.... that's not a huge change in fact it is insulting to call that a "class change" i want to gouge out my eyes with a rusty spoon. In wow every class is completely different with different weapons ( weapons that are made for specific classes) different spells and completely different armor! In runescape there is about say .. lets be generous here.. 30-40 combat sets of armor. Now lets compare that to say over 1000 sets in wow? i rest my case on this.


Yes some of the quests in RS are interesting but on the whole the actual story sucks. They storyline is not conveyed clearly enough, its a pretty bog standard rpg back story. Now you take wow, its story line is clear throughout the whole game but not only that but there is vast amounts of lore, so much so that i don't think i could read it all (but who would need to?)


Your own argument is hypocritical. You say that you do not need to have everything maxed in a game to have fun yet you say you do in wow? Im sure you have never or at least not played wow for very long. I had a lvl 1 a while back and i don't think i have ever had so much fun out a game in all my life. We had mass duel fights and then i went on a 30 man raid to hogger xD and your telling me that i did not have fun because i was not lvl 80?
Anyway i think you are missing the point of the argument. What many WoW players feel is that if they wish to succeed at everything in the game they want to actually be able to do it and keep a social life.. which i fell is imposable with runescape. To gain all 99 skills takes a huge amount of time.. far more than i ever wish to spend on a game ever.


Your missing the point that RS players do the same thing... if not to a more extreme level. I saw one of my friends going from the fittest guy in my school year to being fatter than zezima within the space of a few months because of runescape. The reason there such hype about WoW addiction is because it is much more extensively documented. How many articles have you read about runesacpe addiction? Personally i have never read one and frankly never seen one but we all know it happens. The reason its so fixed on WoW is because its the leading mmo and is more likely to gain media attention when something goes wrong.


Ok you just ruined your own argument. If it is not boring then why do you need bots to do it? i rest my case.

and finally , wow private servers rape runescape ones... full stop.


I also play runescape but does that mean it has no flaws? No, but i can at least accept the fact that the game i play is not perfect in any way. Maybe you should too.

 

Clearly WoW is a better game it isn't debatable. It just comes down to whether you'll pay $15 a month. No more arguments about this please, in no way is RS better than WoW

 

Personally, i tend to swap between, rs has a lot of different aspects and things to do, on the other hand, they can get very repeatative, whereas wow you are controlling your characters movements more in closer combat, to a feel like you are more bound to it, sometimes the repeating end game of wow can get very boring also.

Runescape never if you are not loaded in gold be prepared too hate the game.
Also worldofwarcraft doesn't require "No-lifing" no game does it..Just because your friends uncle son is addicted too worldofwarcraft doesn't mean everyone is.

Ok so the way game modals are made up is but putting loads of tiny hexagon shapes together over a wire mesh ( just like paper mashé) to create objects.
The higher the amount of these graphics the more detailed it is.

I can almost guarantee you that there is more graphics in 1 WoW dagger than there is in a RS "HD" player.

Plz don't spam your shite here until you know your stuff.

Wow for the win. It has more in depth story, more player-environment interaction, awesome graphics and sound effects.

I play runescape,but wow graphics>rs graphics.

 

I like Runescape but WoW actually looks more fun. I actually play Runes Of Magic and Perfect World International which are both like WoW, but that's off topic. I really like Runescape but I get bored of it, but in WoW it seems like you'll never get bored.
