I'm looking for proof of a God
supernatural deity
Let's take Allah.
Allah is considered, to Muslims and ect, God.
Now, I'm going to follow your definitions, just so I don't get anything mixed.
You're looking for proof of a God. A supernatural deity.
First, let's define these words. With real definitions.
Supernatural -
1 : Of or relating to the immediate exercise of divine power; miraculous.
2 : Of or relating to the miraculous.
'Kay.
So basically, we've narrowed YOUR definition, in all terms, down to this; You're looking, firstly, for supernatural, so we got that. Supernatural, broken down, ofcourse, leads to Miraculous.
Miraculous -
1 : of the nature of a miracle : supernatural; a miraculous event>
2 : suggesting a miracle : marvelous; proof of a miraculous memory — Time
3 : working or able to work miracles; miraculous power
Miraculous is .. Circling around 'Miracle'.
(Remember, these are from what you consider a supernatural deity, or 'God'.
Miracle -
1 : One that excites admiring awe.
2 : A miracle play.
Okay, so that's what Miracle means. So we've taken Supernatural and brought it down to it's roots. Down there, we found 'Miraculous'. After bringing that down to it's roots, we found 'Miracle'. So Miracle is 'One that excites admiring awe'.
Good.
SO NOW THAT WE'VE GOTTEN THIS, WE GO TO THE OTHER HALF OF WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR! DEITY!
What is a 'Deity'?
Deity -
1 : The essential nature or condition of being a god; divinity.
2 : A god or goddess.
Alrighty, then. The essential nature of condition of being a god. Divinity. Got'cha!
So, this is the root of the Deity. In one word, DIVINITY!
Hmm..
Divinity -
1 : A deity, such as a god or goddess.
2 : Godlike character.
Well, seems like it all fits, doesn't it?
We've broken deity down, and it seems like it put itself back together, just like that. The definition fits, with every aspect of what you're looking for in 'God' right there..
Now, explanations:
Q; Miracle? How can you compare Allah with miracle?
A; Allah, throughout many years, got millions .. billions of people to believe. Admiring awe, as the definition states.
This would conclude that Allah, or any other God, Christain God.. Ect, falls under your definition of God.
Is the question, "Is there a God?" .. or is it more over .. "Which God is the real God?".
