Google and Facebook are in full support and I know that Google is participating in the blackout. I'm not too sure of whether Facebook with participate though, as millions of morons who could give less of a shit about SOPA/PIPA would just get angry and bitch.

If Google went down, people wouldn't know how to search for anything. Shows how reliant people are on Google and not the other search engines. I think Nvidia are doing something as well.

Censorship of the internet, and "WHO CARES"!?? If sopa goes through, you could kiss this website, along with probably a lot of your favorite websites, goodbye.

How would you access websites, even with a VPN, if the sites are took down, period?? Read about SOPA. A VPN can't access a website that doesn't exist -_-. Think about it.. You can access all websites now, but if it goes through, i bet you'll wish you supported this petition against it.

OK I understand but what can we do against it?
A petition won't do shit, they want control over the internet and no one can stop them.

Some of the website that protest this are scam anyways
I wish they get taken down, like paypal.

There was also strong rumour that Twitter was going to participate in the blackout, but sadly not.

Those of us with lives are hoping Facebook doesn't get shut down.
