Why teenagers drink

In my personal opinion, alcohol at parties are a bad idea, sure it's fun, and sets a good mood for the party but this generation has a severe problem.

Teenagers can't enjoy themselves unless they are doing something illegal e.g. Drugs, Smoking, or alcohol. I've seen first hand how alcohol destroys peoples lives. You see on the news about all the brawls in the pubs and everyone complains and are left asking why does this happen?

An extraordinarily large amount of these fights are caused by intoxicated individuals. You complain and say it was some idiot who just wants to start fights. In allot of cases its found that the person hasn't had a record of violence before, and its clear that its alcohol fueled fights.

Imagine the example we're setting for our kids, and our siblings. It's disgusting to see such a self centered , self pleasing people. I feel embarrassed to be apart of generation.

How hard is it to have an alcohol free environment and have an awesome time, with the bonus of not forgetting what happened the night before and waking up in some girls bed, only to find out you got her pregnant.

Alcohol in moderation is fine in my opinion, like everything else. But getting drunk for the sake of it, is idiotic and irresponsible.

I don't understand...don't people realize how hypocritical it is to insult people for being on a site, on the site? And I wouldn't consider drinking and smoking all day as "having a life".

I personally drink, and I do it because it's just easy to socialise and open up to completely new people.
