People always say that about certain types of drinks and I never understand it... maybe it is the sheer sweetness. I guess there is one soda I could sorta say that about and that is Full Throttle.

Nah, La Cascada Kolashanpan. Haven't run across OK yet, but consider goya mediocre.

 

Yeah this tastes similar to those central American / Mexican brands like that. I've had Cascada as well... not my fan. The Puerto Rican varieties of OK and Wonder (and Great Value) Kola Champagnes are so good. You have to go to a larger import shop to find them, though. Or a Puerto Rican one. They're a completely different product IMO. Orange champagnes are fine, but Browns are so delicious. There's tons of places in San Antonio to get some.

You can enjoy a fantastic Puerto Rican pressed sandwich / meal at Cocina El Jibarazo Latin Cuisine with an ice cold OK Kola Champagne or India Malta

 

Attesting to my previous post, I googled the place and saw that they now opened up a Brick and Mortar restaurant, El Pilon Sabor Boricua.

Now I wanna eat some Puerto Rican food bahahha.

A bit random, but I found a half-finished bottle of Cascada Red. I bought it thinking it was a Big Red clone and drank half of the tiny bottle a few months back. I can tell you 100% this is the same as the Kola Champagne which is essentially the same s every other Mexican / South American / Central American Kola Champagne.

Gotta get on the Puerto Rican variety, I'm tellin' ya.

Holy eff I forget that Fiesta is a widely available chain in Texas. YES. You can get All of this and more. I bought all of the Cascadas there, I bought Maltas (all brands taste pretty similar... you either love malta or hate it), and they have OK by the can and the six-pack. It'll be like a dollar for just a single can, but they do have them at some Fiestas. I want to say it is nearby the Malta Goyas and stuff... but this obviously differs.

I don't drink soda either technically, but I do try new ones out and I have like 45 cans and bottles in a drawer right now. One day I want to be only water with an occasional soda. Of course that won't happen as long as I have interesting things to try out.
