Why I don't trust ranks or post counts

Kyocera wasn't a part of the staff.

Daily was an administrator, but not for a significant period of time.

The thing you have to realize is that it's human nature to have temptation. Scamming is temptation. Therefore, everyone is a potential scammer. There is no way to insure security.

Put yourself in the other guy's perspective. He could be thinking the same thing about you.

After all, you're no different than anyone else, regardless of your self-proclaimed credibility.

 

Business is ruthless. You need to be ruthless. Take precautions and only watch your back. There is no need for trust. Trust is pointless, it's the internet, you can never really know about this "anonymous friend." If you're scammed it's nothing but your fault.

Floyd has it absolutely right, he put some sense into it. Human nature baby, listen to the man, he's got it.

That's your view and I respect that.

Personally, I respect most of the people here as long as they give me respect.
But there are a lot of trustworthy people out there.
Rank or no rank.

It just takes a while for the trust to build up.

 

Ummm this was why I don't give trust one just ranks..
Not if I think everyone here is a scammer..
Its basically why I don't feel the need to give trust to someone just because he has a rank or has a high post count.

sure people could see the same as I do, and most people do..
but what you just said took what I was trying to get accorss and turned it into something else.

I dont expect to be trust within two seconds, I understand that you must earn that.

But when people think because they have done alot of trades on this website or they have posted alot of times makes them trusted with EVERYONE (people they haven't traded as well) I just think its wrong..

If your 14 and im 19, does that mean I should be trusted more, I most likely have been to the shops and bought more stuff.. I most likely have sold more stuff then you have.
and to see most peoples vouches are from banned members now anyway (because most of the members that come on this website get banned) it seems abit weird how people rank there trust because of these things.

IMO if I trade with you, it goes smoothly, your not a dick and you don't do anything to make it seem fishy then I will start to trust you.

But if I have never even talked to you before and you turn around and say you have to give me the item or money first because I'v been here longer and I have had 54 banned members vouch for me then I would rather just not trust.


I verts, I think your taking it wrong..
Im not saying EVERYONE will scam or be distrustful if they get the chance to, im just saying if you look at the ban - not banned ratio on sythe its abit high.

 

Trades shouldn't be based on trust any more, they should be based on Luck!
