People scam on this because there isnt any IRL percussion's.

 

Some people are infatuated with the profit. Scam; move to a different site or wait it out/pay back the amount they scammed. Other, like @sotdlyf mentioned, are like pkers killing 3 itemers. And then you have your @Qemo type people who scam any amount, even if it's less than you can make in a day begging irl (which was apparently justified since staff didn't reply to his messages? -sarcasm-).

And because, like above me said, there's really no consequence for scammers scamming someone over the internet; in most cases I'd assume anyways. Maybe we should have interviews with known scammers who came back to 'pay back their offence' or whatever and ask them why they did it. Maybe they're like crack fiends. Every little hit gets them turnt up?

 

Same reason people steal in real life.

Because they can. I feel like a lot of scammers come from broken homes or there is always a story behind the way that they are.

I would say the over-all reason for scamming would be lack of morals, plain and simple.

The reason behind them lacking the morals could be endless.

A lot of different factors, many all come down to it all being surrounded by the view that "whatever you do online has no consequences in real life". For many, scamming typically can be ruled into a number of categories:

1. Broke, and looking to make some quick and easy cash all whilst staying anonymous.
2. Gambling addiction, needing to scam to feed it via scamming whilst staying anonymous.
3. Scamming people and making cash whilst doing it because you honestly have nothing better to do, also, in the benefits of staying anonymous.
4. Because you're a fucking inbred piece of shit who doesn't fit into any of the categories mentioned above and have no brain cells left in your skull to make your cash and leave innocent people alone.

Most of the people who scam on here are typical 12 year old kids who literally feel good for making $5 of gold for nothing. Or they have an insane addiction to losing money at the duel arena so they come here to Sythe to try impostor their way to success, or ban evade. Either one.

 

Careful longing the stuff these days unless you're in and out quick IMO
