Why do accounts sell so slow here?

Okay I have litteraly only been on this forum for about an hour, but I have been browsing through account offers and I have come to the conclusion that; #1 rs3-rs07 accounts sell very rarely and for cheap or #2 people are closing these deals through PM which is annoying because I am trying to figure out how much these accounts are worth. I am interested because there seems to be a lot of money in the "black-market" of runescape. Can someone help me out a little I was looking into the possibility of buying and reselling accounts is that possible? Or rather is that profitable?

 

I wouldn't re-sell accounts.

If you buy an account from Person A and sell to person B for a small profit and then Person A recovers the account (this can always be done by the person who owns the account) then you are liable to refund Person B. Account re-sellers always get in to a mess because of that. So I would advise only selling accounts you are the creator of.

Secondly, accounts do take time to sell here because of the fact the original owner can always recover them. This means people (most) will only buy from people who have been here a while and have a good reputation. You may have trouble on that front too.

 

Because people don't want to buy from newcomers or people with TWC (I got TWC because I vouched myself, never scammed anyone), I myself try to sell my old main but nobody give a good offer because they are scared of being scammed.

If you need help evaluating prices, we have a price checking forum for exactly that. There are actually a lot of account sales on Sythe, but as you mentioned, most of them aren't happening on threads. Normally someone pms you or makes a decent offer, and you work something out on Skype. I don't think I've ever taken a bid on one of my threads directly as it was in the post. Accounts sell slowly because only idiots buy accounts.

You're better of making a new account and paying for it to be skilled.

Don't get in this business, worst business possible and you're 99% end up scammed or losing money, even if you're the most trusted individual ever other people you buy the accounts from can always recover them, and you wouldn't have a decent cash flow if you're only buying accounts from very trusted users since there are not that many to maintain a shop I believe

 

This community just scams everybody, it's hard to trust anyone. And the staff have been the same people theres not really any real leadership here. No offense.

Because very rarely do you find someone selling an acc, and that person is trusted.
