    Who would you rather TRUST?

You would trust someone that kills just for the adrenaline rush or whatever he likes about it?

    Goodbye to you.

I don't see how you can argue that a murderer is going to have any better ethics than anyone else. Even if they are loyal to their friends how do you know that your always going to be their friend.

The question is simple, what would you prefer to risk your possessions or your life. It's better to be around neither of them.

Are we familiar with each other?
If yes then either one because most likely everyone will not harm one of their own and are in it together.

If not then neither. Both are strangers to me and I'm a stranger to them. I'm not a part of them and they know that so I'm screwed either way. Also if one kills he probably steals and if he steals I bet they they are not above killing someone to achieve that

A thief will steal from anyone, a murderer (generally) will hold friendships very dearly, as they're usually loners or not very liked. Of course I'm not saying I make friends with murderers for fun, I don't think that'd be wise - but I'd trust one over a thief if I had to choose.

Look at gang culture - if you're loyal to the leader of a gang they're not gonna kill you. If you're not loyal to one they will without thinking.

And then look at a serial killer who kills for fun.

Can't keep throwing in these propositions and systematic plots. I could come up with plenty of scenes where each of the 2 have different life styles, etc.

Serial killers don't kill for fun any more than a one-time killer. Their victims usually fit some kind of profile, have things in common etc. A weak male might take pleasure in killing high profile or rich men, for example. Just because they're serial killers doesn't mean their murders are sporadic or don't all have a common denominator. But, as the killing goes on and the adrenaline/high from the murder becomes less intense more quickly like with any addiction, the killing does speed up and lose a lot of the profile, you'd still be pretty safe unless you were what they were looking for IMO.

TLDR: with any type of killer, you'd be pretty unlikely to meet their requirement whereas with a thief it doesn't matter who you are.

Then there's literally no point in this topic because you couldn't get any more vague of who we're choosing between and what their motives are.

I agree with Roary. I'd trust the murderer because in most cases, murderers only kill their victims for a certain reason. They don't go around killing random people they see in most cases, it's always targeted at a certain individual. As long as you don't try to put then into custody, they usually won't attack you, at least, that's what I believe. Theifs on the hand steal for no reason at all a majority of the (other to get richer), and there is usually no line they're not willing to cross when it comes to robbing people.

    Who would you rather TRUST?

I guess this all kind of comes down to the specific situation. Do I trust a thief to hold onto my possessions more than a murderer? No. Do I trust a thief or a murderer with my life? Probably the thief.

Both could have reasons for being thieves or murderers so it's a difficult question to answer with it being so generalized.
