Which Runescape do you like more? Strict? Or lenient?

I liked the strict runescape better. Gave me much more exp/hr while botting

Besides that, I like a challenge.

 

Strict.

I loved the allure of possibly getting caught for being banned plus the economy wasn't shit like it is now.

Yes, cheaper herbs/rune but the downside is that you can't make the same amount from botting these items.

 

if rsbots.net [nexus] + powerbot are shut down i think bots will stop for a lil and hopefully it will get the market to be more expensive ... that is until new bots come trough...

 

^ Yeah, I wonder why JaGex doesn't do this? They are legitimate comapnies making lots and lots or IRL $$$ off selling "cheats" to their game.

This is the one main difference between wow and runescape - wow is actually fun, runescape is more of an addiction/market place.

I used to play legit. Then I started botting.

Now I can't play legit for more than 10 minutes without being extremely bored and wondering why I'm wasting my time on this boring, repetitive, shitty game.

You think they haven't? They've tried suing Mark Snellman at least twice, if not more. They won't get anywhere though, since Nexus runs off reflection, and doesn't touch the actual Runescape game, unlike Powerban.

 

Who do you think is to blame TM?

 

To be honest I really don't care it's just a game I give it another 5 years or less till they come out with rs3 or just kind of forget about the game in general. I bet what they do next is actually put runescape on disks! and run threw a client like "Steam" which will stop cheating all together "For the most part".

to be honest I can see the pendulum swinging here pretty soon like always. Rs will sooner or later get on top of the botting and set the botting community back a bit then botting community will build off the new detection system and so on.

 

It's not the game it was when I started playing years ago, and it's cool to have more money then I would have ever gotten legit. I sell it for real money now.

Not worth it anymore. I'm suspicious when the botting will be stopped though, the prices are at an all time low for everything.

 

Tbh, I prefer a rs where Jagex is not gay.

 

Honestly I'm not sure. I mean basically it is JaGex's fault. Due to their leniency this has occured. I mean in the short run it might make them more money, but in the long run, legit players still are the bulk of their income. When all the legit players leave because of the mass rule breaking, not only will JaGex's Runescape profits go away, but ours as well.

I really like them being lenient right now because I am making bank.

 

We've ruined rs. Long gone are the days where PKing was actually fun, even though they brought the wildy back its not the old days before whips and barrows. The thrill of pking p hats using DDS specs. This games only good for botting now and making IRL cash, and just by looking at source garden it seems as if many people have caught on.

 

They could tighten up there system, but with that new transformers mmo coming out they need all the money they can get...

 

Normally if I ever want to do something legit and I know the other person isn't a bot then I pk or do like clan wars. Every thing else is 90% bots and isn't fun legit.

 

the only reason to *play* RS anymore is for pvp. you get the money and stats to do so via botting.

botting = being able to pk/stake.

I'm all for the lenient.. but then again I only bot to sell gp. I don't actually play the game for fun ^_^

 

Definitely the lenient version. I haven't botted much in the past and played 6 years legit.

However, now that I have less time to play Runescape I bot it makes it a lot easier and I bot around 15 hours a day.
