What's a good chair?

My back fuckin hurts.

If you're on your PC all day and your back doesn't hurt, what chair do you use?

I have an office chair, but right now I use normal one. I think the genesis chairs are the best tho..

 

I have Staples Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair, Black | Staples and I can't complain too much. Regularly goes on sale for $110-$130 so it isn't going to break the bank like some of the racing styled chairs will. I was looking to pick up a Maxnomic chair but figured I'd try this out first and return it if I didn't like it, and I'm still using it 1.5 years later. Some people complain a bit about the headrest, but it's possible to take it off or flip it around which typically solves people's problems. Try checking out /r/buildapcsales every few days, people post chairs on there all the time. I would have never thought to look there but it's where I found out about this chair.

It was good for the first 4-5 months or so, then through slouching (I have bad posture) the front part of the seat has dropped down slightly compared to the rest. End result is I struggle to get comfortable sometimes without sliding down the seat. The arms are also weak as fuck and bent under the slightest bit of weight.

Headrest just gets in the way as well unless you're the perfect height for it. I guess the lesson here is if you want something like a dxr, don't buy a cheaper alternative.

 

Can't recommend a chair but I used to use a strapon massager (not as sexual as it sounds lol) for my chair and it worked wonders. Something like this:

I just got a chair that gives me alright posture when I use it correctly. Though if I had cash to blow, I would get the AKRACING premium v2.

The one I posted a few days ago is arriving today so I'll let u know. Was looking into a dxracer before that as well, but it was too expensive so I went with this one haha.

Don't get one of these "gaming chairs" it's just a decent chair dressed up as a racercar, get a real ergonomic chair, sure they cost a bit but it's way worth it

 

Ikea Chairs done the work for me the last 5 years

 

Had some issues with shipping, so it took a bit longer to receive, but it's in my hands now!

Assembly was fairly simple and it's very comfortable.

Biggest thing for me was having a high back support since my neck goes over most chairs making it uncomfortable, but this one works well . 6ft 178lbs as reference.

It feels solid, but only time will tell~~~

Don’t get the leather (fake I guess) one though! You’ll sweat your balls off on the leather one, the fabric chairs are way better in hot days.
