3.50 is too much for mills, what are they currently at, average? 2.50? They're not going to increase a dollar when gold become easier to sell.

 

I'm game, Im going to have 12 accounts goldfarming, in 12 hour increments, 6 on the day shift, 6 on the night shift. I will be making around $200 worth of gold (400k/hour times 6 accounts times 24 hours times $3.50/hr) a day, pulling in a nice and lucrative $1400 per week, $5600 per month, and an overall clearing rate of about 60K per year, and all tax free, take that uncle sam!

I will quit college, rent an apartment and buy a bunch of desktops to set up in there, hire a free intern for "internet marketing" the poor bastard won't even know what he is signing up for until he is locked into a two year contract. He will manage my computer room complex night and day running hundreds of accounts, making thousands of dollars worth of gold per day for me while I sit on my solid gold toilet pondering my lifes success.

Gold is now going to be way easier to get therefor it should not cost more because it takes no time transfer and should not be extra charge because of time & method

 

I think it will fluctuate a bit but overall stay around the same place. A lot more people will want it but at the same time since you don't need a transfer method a lot of users will start selling their own.

 

on the other side, theres also way more effective bots these days, so alot of more gp's coming into the game.

About the same as it is now, if not a lot more I rekon (I'm very uneducated on the way RS Gold selling works, never knew RWTing existed when I was a noob way back).

Because right now if I'm not mistaken, usually you pay for the ability to buy the phat for its reconmended price from someone else. Which means you would give them the cash for the phat in rl+ in the game (of course I'm probably wrong and you could transfer the cash somehow then buy it).

Now they would just trade over, or whatever, and therefore wouldn't even get the RS cash out of it.

I see your reason for the prices increasing but have you taken into account the amount of bots people will buy? say auto sorc makes you 4-500k/hr a new gold seller buys 20 copies and creates 20 accounts doing sorc garden making 9-10m/hr then xfers it all to one account and sells. I can see their being more supply than demand tbh.

Shit, in 05 they were 17$ a mill.

Prices on mills will probably plummet for a month or two, while all the noobs sell their gold, and cause competition for the main gold sellers. But afterwards, with more demand, people will raise their prices.

 

I hope it drops, I saw a little spike in prices when the possibilty of free trade was annouced, which has deterred me from buying now. But Im hoping it reaches a fair 1$/mil, seems like a fair price to me considering how easily gold is farmed now, and how easily it willl be to transfer.

 

TBH, I have been thinking and thinking about buying rares and gold, ect.... BEFORE the update, but It's just too risky, too much has changed in the last 3 years to really use OLD RS as a reference point for what will happen after the upcoming update. There are a million variables, most of which we know the effect but what we don't know is the magnitude in relevance to the big picture that each will have. I mean how much effect will easier trade have on how many people buy and sell, what prices will goldfarming websites set there gold at, how will Jagex choose to "deal" with RWT, what is a rsgp even worth now in relevance to what it used to be worth (i.e. what items can you get now for a certain amount of gp in relevance to what you could get in the past) How will all of the new items and the last 3 years of updates effect the economy once free trade is implimented? all of this must be considered and too much of it is a guessing game, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

 

It will drop with so much supply, but will eventually go back up because manipulation will be gone. Raising items through the g/e is what brought in so much gold in the first place. Being able to turn a bil into ten bil in like 4 months from manipulation is what killed the gold market. With rumors on how the grand exchange will work now then this will die.

 

I don't see gold going back up to $2.50/M but good luck I plan on doing the same but with a lot more accounts.

In the old days, in my country, if buying several mills only, their price was around 5$, so yeah it, will go up pretty much.

 

theres no way its going to rise. cash will be very eaisly made from pking and staking not to mention scamming. im not shore about most people on sythe but i know when trade comes in all the cash on my other botted accounts will go into my main. i wont pay for gp because u can just bot sorc garden on random accounts and transfer it to a main or whatever.

 

it will go down alot in the beginning i think around 0.6 lowest and then will rice alot again that's my thought about it
