    We're already in hell.

    ROFL

Heaven is being alive, we just screw it up by fighting etc. When you die (i beleive) you turn back into energy.

We are born from nothing, when we die we are reduced to nothing. So what do we lose? Nothing. (monty python)

    We're already in hell.

To believe in hell you need to believe in what is said about hell in the Bible, since thats where it originates from. Since God says that without knowing who Jesus is, we will be sent to hell, then hell can't be the earth since we can't be sent somewhere when we're already there. The Bible says that hell will be a place where we will be the furthest away from God, and since we can have a relationship with God on the Earth then the earth can't be hell.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the earth is Heaven. Before Adam and Eve ate the apple, they were on the earth with God.
When Jesus comes the second time, God will create a new Heaven and Earth (therefore we're not in Heaven).
We are not in control of Heaven and Hell, that doesn't even make sense.
We didn't choose hell. I don't choose hell. If God says you deserve to go to Hell that doesn't mean you choose it.

    We're already in hell.

You cannot prove something false, though you can prove the opposite to be true...However this still does not provide absolute evidence that the other is false.

    We're already in hell.

I don't see what the question is.

Anyways; Lets go back to your point of view, how do you explain eternal damnation? Staying alive forever I guess?

    _______________

Anyways, I don't condone these beliefs. I am just criticizing his.

    We're already in hell.

Buddhism believes reincarnation is eternal damnation, until you break free from the cycle.

I say find out when you die for me though i already know the answer ;P and earth is not hell.. well for the moment its not and there is a heaven simply because everything has to have a purpose even the tinest cell is viewed equally in the eyes of god. Thats why they call it blind faith

    We're already in hell.

Do you even know the details of the bible story regarding God killing the Egyptians?

They were the ones persecuting his people, they were the sinners that praised their fake idols, this is something God does not stand for.

And this also shows how he protected his people that believed and worshiped him.

He does see everyone as equal however why would he simply let all the people who worshiped him get slaughtered by the Egyptians who did not acknowledge him as God?

    We're already in hell.

Do you know the details? That story is one of the most terrible stories ever written. God unleashed terrible plagues on the country (the Jews also lived there), and topped it off by killing alot of children. What the fuck is wrong with God, was that the best way to free them?

I'm not implying it actually happened, that's just my opinion of the story.

    We're already in hell.

Why yes, I do know all the details. However do you? It states in the bible that the Jews were left alone, unharmed by the terrible plagues.

He commanded that who ever did not smear the blood of a sacrificed lamb would have their first born child killed by the angel of death. This was the LAST plague, God's Final warning to the Egyptians to let his people free.

    But surely you know this...?

He gave them 12 chances, twelve, to set his people free. Do you not see how blind the Egyptians were?

    We're already in hell.

    Forgot that part, yeah.

Do you think this is acceptable? Killing kids for their parents' mistakes?

The point is that the Egyptians in general wasn't to blame. The entire country was punished because Pharaoh wouldn't free the Jews. God could have appeared to Pharaoh, or struck Pharaoh down and helped the Jews escape. God works in inefficient and cruel ways?

    We're already in hell.

God viewed the Egyptians as a whole, and he did give them the warning, which they completely ignored.

Need I remind you of what a king is? The king represents the people as a whole, and again, the whole country was not affected entirely, only the Egyptians who used the Jews as slaves.

Hes God, hes not going to be a pansy.

    We're already in hell.

So the whole thing is an ego trip to show how powerful God is?

The king may formally represent the people, but he doesn't necessarily share the views of the common man. I find it extremely ignorant to see the Egyptians as a whole.

On a side note the problem wasn't that the Egyptians had slaves, the problem was that the Egyptians had Jewish slaves. The Bible supports slavery and beating slaves, so God obviously only cared because they enslaved Jews. I find that disturbing. "God loves everyone equally" indeed...

There is no such thing as hell. End of story.
There is only reincarnation into something you may not like.

You don't believe in hell, but you do believe in reincarnation? The probability of both these theories existing are the same..
